2.5" lift

Hey guys im new to the site and will be new to jeeps, I ordered my first jeep last week and want to put a 2.5" lift on it after i get it, but my question is, do i need a transer case drop with the 2.5" lift?

Most likely not. Only if you get those vibes... Or if your 2.5" lift actually gives you more lift than it says lol.

Related questions...how about a pitman arm drop? Or...anything else that would be affected?

Nope for the TC drop. But depending if you have a 2DR or 4DR and what brand you got, the lift could get you as high as 3.5" even though it says 2.5" lol. This shouldn't be much of a problem, but since your TC sits higher than you axles after the lift, your driveshaft angles will be somewhat steeper causing more wear and tear on the joints. It would most likely take years to do noticeable damage but for future reference, if you go any higher, its necessary to do a driveshaft swap.

Thanks for your help guys, and to answer your question litium lotus, I'm going to go with the rough country spring and shocks kit. one more question, would I need a steering stabilizer with the lift?
