Agreed. 2.5" lift on a 2-door with 33's looks good. That is what I plan to install on my 2-door when the money fairy arrives.

Just lifted my 2-door with 33's today by swapping out 13/55 springs for 18/59's. Gained 2.5" in the front and 2.0" in the rear.

Do you have a problem rubbing your rubi rails with the 35's? I have read that people are trimming their rails with 2.5" lift to fit 35's?

Nice... this is precisely what I am going to be doing. I snagged a TF 2.5 coil kit with Bulsteins, and will be running it with '11 Rubicon wheels and tires (that are on there now). I'm in the process of securing bumpers and a winch (and Truetrac for the rar), and I suspect this will be a great all around setup.

Looks matter less than practicality... and a competent balance of performance, capability, and practicality is what I'm after. The 32's got a lot done in Moab, and I reckon more articulation hurts no one.

If you must have clearance at the axles, I get it... ...but short of regearing, I like the way my 3.8 2 door with 3.73 gearing goes down the road with 32's. I might try a slightly larger tire size at replacement time... ...but then again, if I can snag anotner set of new takeoffs right, well... I might never change.

Theres alot more that comes with going to a 35 inch tire besides the lift needed. I myself will probably go with a teraflex performance spring kit with upgraded shocks and 33's as to not create to much wheel well space. When I can pony up all the upgrades needed to run 35's properly without long term damage then I'll make the jump.

Your going to need spidertrax wheel spacers to run the Rubis with the 2.5 teraflex.

I bought the TF spacers at the same time... I saw some debate as to whether or not they were required... but TF said "yes", so I said "ok".

I wondered if the 1.25 vs 1.5 inch would be an issue... but from what I have read, no. Let's hope not.

That looks great!

What kind of rims are those?

I think 33's look just fine with a 2.5" lift. I just switched from a Teraflex Leveling Kit to a Rubicon Express 2.5" Coil Lift with Bilstein 5100 Shocks.

Here are some pics. What do you guys think?

I got a white jeep and a 2.5 inch lift and been looking for the right tire to go with it and it seems I might of found it. Where and what did you pay for the tires? Also, did you use spacers?

Anyone running Teraflex leveling kit (non coil) with stock 32s and 1.5" wheel spacers to balance the look/stance? I'm thinking of doing this on my 14 JKURX mainly because I think the stance is slightly narrow looking.

Not all 33's are the same size also goes for 35" tires + weight is different I went down from 35" to 33" for better performance & towing cause I didn't want to regear 33" & 411's work great for my needs & wants

I plan to do 33's with a 2.5 sometime soon - will post up pics when I get it all set up. I am just leery of going bigger and not being able to get into the Jeep. But if I find I don't like the 33's, tires are consumables-they will need replaced at some point and I could always do 35's then if I was so inclined. So I have some comfort that it isn't a "permanent" decision - I get to make it all over again in so many miles.
