If you are getting the rubber for the 18s cheap, go for it. I went down to 17s because the price and variety was much better. Selection and prices for 18s suck.

Have you been happy with your wheels? I'm considering Raptors with 33's.

They are 33x12.5x15 on MB wheels with 4.5 back spacing. TF 2.5 lift gave me about 3 inches of lift, but it's settled down since I added bumper/winch/rails. I think it's about 2.6 now.

I love the look and how it drives. The only time I have an issue is when I'm at an obstacle and see a JK with 35’s and it barely makes it. Then I second guess myself for 5 mins and until I get past the obstacle with little difficulty. When I do get stopped, I'll probably have a nervous breakdown. For now, bliss...

At the end of the day, I figure 35‘s would only give me another inch of clearance which is probably useful, but I'm not doing major rocks.

Nope, it's great. As mentioned, get the daystar bumps or some heater hose to extend the stock ones. Cost me a $1 at advanced auto for the hose.

2.5" Teraflex coils, Bilstein 5100 shocks. 33x12.5x15 Duratracs on 15" MB72 wheels.

Might as well show some fender gap

Heavy bumper's dropped it a bit so take that into consideration.

I like the looks of the Raptors, but to be honest I have lost about 10 of the little star beads that frame the broader of the wheel. They are little rivets that just pop in and come lose. I took everyone out of my spear to replace the ones that fell off each side. That way the wheels on the jeep have one look and the spear another. No one notices', but I do and get a little pissed. Discount has tried to get me replacement rivets, but always on back order. I will post some pics of what I'm talking about tomorrow.

Sorry for getting off topic everyone!! Nice Jeeps out there.

Thanks... those so small that from the pics, I thought they were molded right into the wheel. I'm trying to avoid the look of fake rivets or beadlocks.
