Greetings,
I am a newbie, thank you in advance for your time.
I have a 2013 Sahara Unlimited (my first Jeep), and am looking at 2.5” lift kits because I want to run 35” tires. I’m a city-slicker (99.9999% of my drive time is NOT off-road), and this is a daily driver.
I ordered a Black-Friday special Rubicon Express 2.5” kit. The shocks were on back order so I substituted Skyjacker Hydro7000’s to get the parts sooner. When the kit arrived I saw that the springs were MUCH heavier than the stock springs which got me to thinking about the ride quality.
Would the Skyjacker Softrider kits be a better choice for my daily-driver? I know not to expect a limo-like ride, but I'd like to keep my teeth ;-).
Also, what is the difference between the “Standard Suspension Systems” and the “Sport Lift Kits” Skyjacker lift kits/systems? I have read the catalog descriptions regarding parts included, but I am not experienced enough to recognize the difference in performance/ride quality.
Again, thanks for your time,
Snyds
