2.5" Pro Comp vs 2" coil spacers?

2009 JK 2 Door, 6k mile. I bought a Pro Comp Comfort Ride susp lift (2.5") includes coils and shocks. Went to have it installed and dealer shorted me one box. They garage installing my lift tried to push a 2" coil spacer lift instead. Said that would be adequate with my 33's? Talking about $500 for lift, $350 labor including alignment vs $325 mat/labor for coil spacers. Mild off-roading, daily driver. Running Goodyear MRT's 285/17 stock wheels. Need to decide which way to go by Monday am. Thanks!

First off, you're going to need wheel spacers for those tires and OEM wheels.
Next up, a coil spring lift with decent shocks WILL ride and handle better, and flex better off road, than any coil spacer setup. Can't vouch for the PC setup, but I'd rather have a coil setup any day- budget boosts are for looks, and, in my opinion, a waste of money for anyone who really wheels their rig- Mark W.

Can I just get different wheels in lieu of spacers?

Absolutely- for 17's, you want 4.25-4.5" of backspacing. OEM is over 5" of backspacing- thus the clearance issue- Mark W.
