2.5 Teraflex Install.... DONE

After a lot of freezing, cursing and bloodied knuckles we finally finished the instal of my 2.5 Teraflex lift on my 09 JKUR. I also had the factory wheels powder coated. The pic with all the snow is before picture.

Can't decide which is next rubber or bumpers. I guess I will let my bank account recover and go from there.

Question for the group... I haven't painted the wheel center caps yet but I kinda like the way they look with the silver against the black. Thoughts?

Came out really good. I, personally, would paint them black, but if not it still looks good.

I left my center caps and lugs unpainted. I think it looks good. Gives it a little bit of contrast.

Looks good

Your Jeep being silver/white, I think the caps provide that little bit of contrast and goes well with your Jeep.

Looks great! I'd plasti-dip them and peel it off if you don't like it.

I like the silver caps, also I have the same lift. I went with 33's on my stock wheels as well.

looks good man.

I'm a fan of the contrasting center caps.

I'm putting on the same lift this weekend if it indeed comes this friday so I'm glad to see another jku rubi for an image of what mine will look like

I'd prefer them all black but I'd go with what the above person said about plasti dipping them for a better decision.

Love the whole new look!!! Congrats in the lift!

Thanks everyone or the positive comments! I think I am going to leave the caps silver for now. Now if the weather would decide what it's going to do I could take it out on the trail and make sure everything works properly !

I like the lift. How long did the install take and did you go with new shocks too? From browsing the forums, it seems as the TF 2.5 lift has been the most popular, so I'm leaning towards that in the future. I Like the silver hub and like a previous post sais, plastidip it to see how black looks.

JKatfish - the lift took about 10 hours total. I did the work in my garage which had limited space and I didn't have jack stands that were tall enough so we had to get a little creative on the spring instal. Not to mention cold as a mother in-laws kiss. All that being said the instructions were great and there is a video on YouTube that Teraflex did demonstrating the instal that was very helpful. I had this same lift on my '07 2 door and I loved it but I had it installed instead of doing it myself. Based on my experience if I had the opportunity to do another instal I would do it myself. Aside from freezing my noogies off and a few bloody knuckles it was hard work but well worth the money saved. I did do shocks on both lifts I think it was worth the money and not having to go under the jeep again in the future to upgrade the shocks down the road. Let me know if I can help with you decision or instal.
