I'am stuck between 3 colors. I know this is just a complete personal preference but i would like to know which of these 3 are the easiest to clean after mudding, salt from snow etc.....also hiding scratches and swirl marks. I have plans on purchasing a 2 door and these are the colors.

1) white
2) green
3) tan (sand or mojave something like that)

My wife has a white car and its pretty easy to keep clean. But what about the others. Kinda leaning toward green.

From my experience with the black forest green (almost black) I would avoid anything dark. The best overall would be white. It hides a lot of stuff. Hypergreen might hide some of the scratches, and tan might as well vs. darker colors, pretty much only tan is going to hide something like mud and dust.

From those colors, white with black top and fenders. I love a white car, but is seems like half the Jeeps I see are white and the other half are black.

I owned one white car and swore I would never own another. Tar splash up and bug guts were a bear to clean off. But when I finally get a Jeep it will more than likely be white. I just really like the black and white contrast. I want a lighter color with no metal flake. And white shows the least amount of dust.

I'd vote the hypergreen. Wranglers are one of the few vehicles where you can get away with the obnoxious colors. Plus it'll be easy to find the car in parking lots. :bop:
Yup and people will see you coming. All kidding aside, not a bad safety feature!

I've had 4 wranglers and white is my favorite so far. It's just clean looking and scratches don't show. Mine is 4 years old this Labor Day and still looks new. Pic taken today to show off my new wheels/tires:

Yeah, I'm getting old and boring. :) That said, I'll be the first to admit that when Gecko is built up into an off-road beast, it looks awesome. Hyper Green just isn't doing it for me. Just a little too light. Almost yellow at times.

Go with a loud color. Makes it more fun

Agree with most about the green out of those choices.
But you could consider anvil. Dark enough to look really good with black accents but light enough to hide most stuff.

The lighter colors reflect more light and hide scratches better ... but white is going to show any dirt. That's how I ended up on Mojave Sand when I bought mine two months ago.

It seems like you have one really exciting color, and two compromise colors. Go for green if you dig that color - it'll make you that much more excited about your JK!

Personally? I love the hyper green. Dune is also a pretty sweet color. White or black seem so pedestrian when you have these and other cool color choices. Try driving by VW, Honda, Ford, and Nissan dealerships. Where I live each of these has a sea of totally mundane, boring, safe colors. (I'm sure plenty of other vehicle makes are similar). If you have the chance and inclination to get a little frisky with the color then go for it!

I like the sandy dune like colors on jeeps. Put black wheels and accents on them and they look really nice.

I've owned a tan car and a couple white ones.
Tan never showed anything. Actually you couldn't even tell after washing it that anything changed other than it was slightly shinnier. Actually made me wash it less often, which is not necessarily a good thing.

Other than tan, white is the easiest to keep clean looking contrary to what most people believe. Barely shows pollen when everyone else's are covered in green (hyper green would be good for this). Swirl marks are invisible. Dirt is lighter colored and doesn't show as bad as on darker colors.

Jeeps come in colors that nothing else does. I'd chose one of those buying new. I actually ended up with black cause I bought used and you can't be picky. Probably the last color I would chose when all the really nice ones are available. By far the hardest to keep clean. But its also nice that jeeps are one of those vehicles people look at and think: Well, yeah its dirty. Its supposed to be.

I'd go with hyper green, although not over tank green! :D
