2 door back seats

Does anyone know the width of these please? Can 3 kids (12, 10 and 5) sit side by side on this seat?

Only if bound and gagged properly.

Honestly, you need to ask yourself how often you'll have all three kids in it with you. I got the two door because we never do the three kid haul anymore, boys are both driving now and if we all have to go somewhere we hit the crew cab truck. It's tight in the backseat and not a pleasant way to travel. Trust me a visit to the proctologist, a mammogram and teeth pulled all in one day would be more pleasant than three tweens in the back of a jeep.

True, but just to say it, I was in the dealership a couple of weeks ago, and the back seat of the unlimited (not sure it is any wider than the 2 door though) looked fine for 3 "younger" kids. I wouldn't take them on a long haul but for driving around the city, it looked pretty much the same as your standard 4 door cage.

The back seat in the 2 door only has two seatbelts.

I have a two kids (4 & 7) and there's not even room for the dog when they're in the back seat of my 08 2dr JK-X.

little ones, properly seat-belted, would be ok for a short ride, (within a 20 mile round trip) but I don't think I'd want to take them on a couple HUNDRED mile ride that way.

I own the 2008 Wrangler X, 2-dr

I guess you could do that, but remember the sticker that comes with both the hardtop and/or a wrangler soft top, pretty sure it goes something like THE DOORS AND OVERHEAD OF THIS VEHICLE ARE NOT INTENDED TO KEEP PASSENGERS INSIDE THE VEHICLE, PROPER RESTRAINTS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES, so if you're going to take the 3 kids in the back, I'd be might careful, retro fit would be fine, but I'd be careful jury-rigging anything.

PS I'm 6'1'' and have sat in the back seat of other peoples wranglers. It was tight with another person in the back, but I think it'd be doable with 3 lil kids in the back if you had a 3rd seatbelt
