buddy of mine has a set of #31 tires from his 2005 rubicon, so they will go on those rims and than I will get new rims for normal use , its my first jeep wrangler na I always want it one so I'm very exided nad even that it was windy and cold today I did few hours of topless driving

Great looking Jeep! I like the red. It will look even sharper with the larger wheels and tires your going to get from your buddy. I'll keep my eye out for you in the Hartford area. I'll know it's you, because my license plate is just a few numbers lower.

well at first i thought you meant you were just getting the 31" tires until "finallyJO" said "wheels AND tires". you might already know this but you can't use the wheels off of your buddies 05 rubicon because the bolt pattern is 5x4.5 and the JK has a new bolt pattern of 5x5 so those wheels won't work. only the tires will work.

I'm only getting tires alone and those will go on my rims that I have now, the 07 tires will go on new rims that I'll have to buy, prob. aluminum rims for regular road use, thatway I can swap them for off-road use

Hey where did you go for that 'wheeling? Was that in CT or MA? How'd the Unlimited do? From the pictures it looks like great fun, and the best way to get your new Jeep dirty!

What size are your tires? I was noticing that the wheel wells look huge. Looks like it could hold lots of meet.

very nice! its amazing how much better it looks with the tires!

like amerijeep said, it looks like you could go even bigger! well of course you could go with 32's cause thats what the rubi has. that will be sweet. 32's with no lift and probably no rubbing. but those 31's look sweet on there. i saw some guy that put 33's on with no lift. seems pretty good too as that would only be an inch bigger than stock.

free is the best price. i wouldn't pay $500+ more just to get tires that are an inch bigger
