2007 JKU Light Bar

Hello...or should I say Hella? Anyhoo, I am looking at installing a light bar to my factory bumper. Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions? What kind of lights should I install? I've heard KC and Hella are the best, but what size? Do mounts usually come with them when ordering? How about switches and wiring...what does that entail? I have so many things to consider - any tips or basic hints for someone not so mechanical?

Bit of a pain in the butt but i love the way it looks. Took some minor work to get the daylighters to fit in there though. Kc is the best imo. The bar is mbrp. If you have a 2012+ your gonna need a vaccum pump relocation kit too.

I have a black jku, so mine would look similar to yours. The yellow contrast looks really good! I will have to put that one on the radar!

I have the Rugged Ridge light bar on my stock bumper, and am planning on mounting an LED bar on it. Here is a couple shots of the bar.

That looks sharp as well! Was it easy to mount?

I wouldn't say it was easy lol. But it wasn't hard, just tricky.

Are you looking for actual use or looks? IMO you don't want either of these. I would go with LED lights either single or dual row. I'm running a 50" on windshield light as well as the LED 6 pack on A pillar and a 13" on the hood. I use at night and it lights up everything 190 degrees. I turn my pillar lights to the side. Have a friend running 4 pack on the A pillar as well as bumper and another two rigs with the 4 PAC A pillar only and one with a 20" on the hood. Again looks mean and better than the 1980 KC or HELLA lights.

I know the owner of pure fire LED he's a member of our Jeep Club.
