Exclamation 2008 Jeep Wrangler make ticking noise from engine !!!

Iím the owner of 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

I have a problem with a ticking noise thatís coming from ONLY when engine is worm /has bean driven for 20min/ from engine area ONLY!! If I press gas pedal around 2000rpm and over 2000rpm I start hearing ticking noise

People from dealership changed catalytic convertor , check oil , check spark plugs but that wasnít the problem, they changed oil and same thing still hearing ticking noise when engine is worm and when I hit 2000rpms. It's fast ticking noise sound like diesel ticking noise but only if I pres gas pedal hard to 2000 rpm's.

What might be the problem?

Thanks

I would start by getting a more traditional automobile engine, if you are trying to use a worm to power your rig, the ticking noise is probably the least of your problems. There's no way you can roll anything bigger than factory tires with that set up.

On second thought, most of the worms I have encountered don't really make any noise, let alone a ticking noise, so maybe it's not actually a real worm you have there? I would take it to a licensed fisherman and have him take a look at it for you first.

That's called root-cause analysis, baby!

Non smart-ass answer-

Take a look at the belts, sounds like that might be the place to start. Look for wear/missing teeth. Have somebody else rev the engine for you while you watch and listen to each one (don't stick your fingers in!). Maybe then you could help isolate the origin of the sound.

Load ticking?

Fuel injectors tick normally.

What oil is being used?
