2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara

I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara and want to upgrade my sound in the car. I am very new to speakers, subs, amps, and all that so any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not a stereo guru, but you may want to give people some more ideas on what you think you might be looking at:

Price range?
Change all speakers?
Change the head unit?
Add amp?
Add subwoofer?
Looking for volume? Clarity? Audiophile quality?
Do it yourself or list of parts to have installed?

I think this may help everyone give you some better recommendations.

Good luck!

Thank you, sorry. I'm not sure on the price, as I don't know how much they usually cost. I want to change all the speakers and sub. I like bass, clarity, and volume. From my understanding, I will need an amp. No need for a different head unit, I already have one. I play all my audio through auxiliary. And finally, I would have it installed by a professional.

Sorry, I guess I didn't say what I meant the right way. I just meant for price are you in the $500 range, $1000 range or sky's the limit?

That will just help them recommend components that are at least in your ballpark. If they set you up with a top of the line list and it's waaaay over your budget, then everyone has to start over from scratch.

Just trying to help out. Not trying to be a pest.

Not a problem, I appreciate it. I would say in the middle, not too much, but I would rather spend more and get better quality than spend less and get bad speakers.

Sorry... Last time for me to butt in.

You may want to try to post this same query with some of the details I mentioned in the Communications and Electronics - Jeep Wrangler Forum forum. You might also want to mention in the title 'replace sound system' so people have an idea what you're looking for at a glance.

Again, good luck!
