2008 Rubicon - 4 door - Brights/high beam have no function

I just bought a used Rubicon - all has been going great, however noticed tonight the brights don't work. EVERYTHING else works, drive fine with low beam, but when I put it in high/bright - no lights (only the headlights). Checked for a fuse out (by the battery) and did not find one for the high beam. I am assuming there is a relay - any idea were? Any additional comments?

Do you mean that the fog lights go out when you switch to high beams? If so, that is the way they are designed to work.

Nope, not the fog lights, the high beams. When you flip the turn signal to go from low to high - no high beam. All other lights work, just not the two main high beams.

Are they HID? Some kits only have a single beam and some of the more expensive kits have a servo to move the beam up.

If they're blue in color they're more than likely HID lights. You'll be able to see a ballast and igniter under the hood connnected to them. You might just have to live without your brights, however, the HID lights should light up as much as or more than your stock lights on the high beams.

Also, you should see a positive lead going to your battery from the front.
