Hey guys I'm hoping I can find some help here. I bought my 2009 wrangler new, and not too long after I began having issues with the rear window zipper. It started going off track and the teeth weren't lining up. I spoke with two dealerships, in which one suggested using the mopar cleaner lube, but the other said not to. We tried getting the teeth back on track, we tried soap and wax. I think we tried everything we could think of. Course it doesn't help living out in the boondocks on a dirt road.
After going back and forth with the dealership saying it wasn't covered under the warranty, we found a guy to replace the zipper itself. He completely replace the zipper on the window and the top, but once again a year later I'm having the same problem.
I'm thinking of having to bite the bullet and buy an entire new top, maybe this one is defective?? I was just curious if anyone has had this problem in the past or knows a way to possibly fix it. Needless to say the dealership didn't do squat for me.
