In any event, the Sahara definitely does NOT come with it standard. If the price is close, I'm not sure why you'd go with the Sahara. Sahara's are great of course, but the suspension and hardtop alone would make the islander worthwhile under your circumstances.
i've asked Pato to join us.

its on the window sticker of this islander.

as far as the sahara, it comes with just the hard top, but its msrp at $29385 compared to $28575 for the islander and think i can buy either for about the same money but someone would have to convince me that the painted fenders look good and leather seats are a jeep thing.

the islander is stone white and the sahara is mango.

Not sure, but would be surprised frankly if it didn't. The mountain had an additional feature the islander didn't but what that is escapes my memory now.

the additional feature the mountain has compared to the islanders is the power convenience group. thats why the mountain package is $4110.00 and the island package is $3305.00. now to the island add the power convenience group (which is included on my island) for another $585.00.
the mountian package actually costs $220.00 more than the island

but for that $220 you get, a nicer logo on the seats, slightly nice decals, the fuel filter door, a gray grill and some tail light guards.

According to the build sheets from a couple of in stock units the suspension is different. The codes for the indivudual springs are the same but the term "performance suspension" on the islander leads me to believe the islander and mountain are not exactly the same. Will have to ask my new Chrysler rep tomorrow when he comes in.

Here: (Jeep Parts - The Official Jeep Parts eStore offered by Chrysler)

Select "2010" then "Wrangler 2-door" or "Wrangler 4-door," and then search within the selection for "Islander." It's the only item that comes up, and is listed at $71.10.

Take the cheapest sport you can find and make it your own if that's what you really want. Unless you have a rubicon package there basically all the same off road other than gearing and tires. The tires you can easily upgrade and the gearing is not crucial unless you are doing serious crawling If you plan on going wheeling often just get a rubi and be done with it. The rest is "luxury" trim and stuff.

X2 the best way to go at imop, people are selling rubi parts all the time after they up grade. or you can just get the after market stuff you want and you will be spending a lot less than others. Its what I am doing.
