2011 jeep brochure here!

Stole it from another site but here it is. Guess my 2011 order is getting cancelled. I waited for 2011 cuz they were out of deep charcoal pearl for 2010 orders and now we get crap colors. deep charcoal pearl went to the grand and was the best color I have seen on a wrangler in a long time. Way to screw up Chrysler/Fiat!

Best two colors out of that...Natural green, and Sahara tan.

A few major take-aways from that brochure:

The Dana 44 rear axle remains across the line.
Oil pressure and voltmeter gages have been added.
Body color top is a Sahara option.
Sahara and Rubicon get a 115 volt power outlet.
Power heated mirrors are included in the power Convenience Group
Gas charged shocks are standard across the line.

agreed Tom, opinions do vary, however, I was told in Apr that I couldn't order because that color had been depleted. but don't worry, it was the first year for deep charcoal and it sold out first so it makes sense that it would be available for 2011. popular color + sold out first = good sales for next model year. No jeep would rather move it to the grand. doesn't make too much business sense. I see the detonator yellow is back, good business move but the other colors do not make sense. only 2 dark colors, black and green.

I love my 2010 natural green, was hoping they discontinued it so it would be a one year only color :-)

Who misses the spice top, esp if you have a black Jeep. I wish they still had that option.

Hey Tom did you notice the 07 sahara photo in the 2011 brochure??? That is the same exact photo from the 07 brochure.Tom,those tires are not deflated to 15lbs in the sand and that Sahara is not in 4lo (Jimbox had stated that 4 LO was needed to go in sand) I don't think thats right,a JK may need an after market cooling system but deflating and 4 LO is not the answer. At least not from Jeeps perspective.Theres that photo again

I'm not in agreement with 4 Lo in the sand. I use 4 Hi with ESP turned off. Wheel spin and momentum are your friends in the sand.

Where are you people getting this incorrect info....Rubicons always had dana 44, and the Natural Green wasn't only in 2010. I own a 2008 in natural green.

OMG. I love "Jeep porn" but there were way too many OPTIONS for my brain to handle. I will just stick with my simple TJ...that is paid for.

There is no 290hp....its the regular 3.8 v6. They probably won't get that new motor for another year or so.

Good grief, you can walk barefoot in the sand also !!

My statement for 4lo in the sand, is for spending HOURS in the SOFT sand--IF YOU HAVE A JK AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION !!

Now, I won't do this but there are overland accounts of traveling ACROSS the Sahara, over 500 miles and NEEDING 4lo and low air pressure, with a stick !!

If you try that at higher air pressure and rpm-momentum--you runoutofgas!!!

4lo and low airpressure also works in DEEP snow and the auto is superior to the stick !!

JIMBOX, I love you but we'll have to agree to disagree. (Not the same way I love HarWa004) I find nothing superior about an automatic. Airing down is a given. Granted 4 Lo may behave differently with an auto, but for a stick 4 Lo is for crawling. JK's have a no stall feature that let you practically stand on the brake in 1st gear and 4 Lo without stalling. If I had to grunt out of some deep sand, I might consider 4 Lo, but for traversing sand (even deep and soft) I've got to go with 4 Hi and ESP off to have wheel spin and momentum.

Thats a nice inside! Nice wheel too , but Im not sure it goes with a Jeep? More like an M3. I actually like the one in the 2010. Nice feel.

And Daggo,, I know it wasnt coming out in 2011,, just saying I want to see those numbers in the spec sheet... Like I cant wait till it does.

Did you forget your chill pill today?..............
