2011 jk 2dr has been stalling

So recently my 11jk 2dr 6spd has been acting like its stalling on me when taking off like bogging out as the rpms drop to nothing and engine dies. It starts rite up and acts normal again ... Anyone have any suggestions or should I just take it to the dealer ?

Where do u fill up ? Bad gas? Maybe check fuel filter. This is a complete guess but it's where I would start

I find anything other that Shell gasoline causes the engine to knock and ping but doesn't cause loss of power or stalling.

Does it feel like the hill assist is holding too long?

OK so you have disabled the hill assist feature? Yeah it is a real PITA in my opinion also!!

Does the engine run rough when at idle? Like it is hunting?

Mine does the SAME thing!!! If I ease out the cluch and don;t give it enough throttle it bogs to almost like a run-on. Then it dies. I then have to shut it off and restart which it immediatly does.

I was going to ask about this but then thought its my driving. Sometimes if I have my large hunting boots on its hard to "feel" the pedels. It did it the other night and it just bogged and stumbled like "burrr-um---burrrr-um burrrr-um over and over. I had to shut the key off ( I was in traffic and was NOT pleased at all---course neither were the folks in back of me)

With the key off, then back on, push cluch to the floor and immediatly started up like nothing had happened.

Man I'm glad you posted this I thought it might just be me..... Now I WILL call my dealer.
