2011 Power Windows - Help

My power windows are stuck in the up position. Both sides. What is the 1 common component? Checked my manual to find the fuse position but that is the only electronic not listed! Anyone know which fuse to check?

This has been reported at times. Sometimes the computer needs to "re-boot" sort of speak. Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery has worked for some. Sorry I can't help more.

Have you tried each switch, or just the master?

Can bus control

I would guess, CAN BUS is central control I/F and a power reset might do the trick...?

Tried both switches. Also found that fuses J4 and J5 control the whole door module (L/R). Locks both work which rules out common fuses. I'm going to try the battery terminal disconnect since all other electronics work. Will let you know.

For some reason I was thinking he said it was an unlimited and there would have been some in the back.

Went back out later and started the Jeep. Windows worked fine. No clue why they started working again. Did nothing. I'm sure this isn't the end of this potential electrical problem . . .

Gremlins

Been known to happen, no rhyme or reason.

There's another thread on this sight and I had the same issue and yes it was just a matter of shutting off the ignition/open the door so all the power shuts off and restarting it. Is it right? NO! and I wish Jeep would own up to it and figure it out.
