2011 sahara unlimited JK 35's no lift ???????

Can it be done without rubbing or damage. I am looking at 35's (12 inch). Looking at 18 inch wheels with tires (35X12.5X18). Could I just trim fenders or do I definitely need 2.5" lift.

I have an 07 sahara unlimited with 35" nittos.... you need the lift, and possibly spacers (depending on your wheels) in order to not have and rubbing.

There are guys that doit, but

Without a small lift (2.5"), trim the fenders/bumpers/cut rear seams/spider trax adjusters and adj the steering stops-then if will just barely work--

You will still have trouble off-road-

Good luck

You can buy flat fenders and run 35s all day with no lift.

Flatties will do it. If you're only on-road, it'll be fine. If you're actually wheeling (I'm guessing not, based on the 18's), you'll want some lift- Mark W.

"cut rear seams/spider trax adjusters and adj the steering stops"

"pinch weld"

One topic, and I've read more things I never heard of, ever. That's why I joined a forum. To learn. Thanks.

Just or the record, they mean the same thing by rear seams and pinch weld. Take a look at you rear tire. That kife looking object that is part of the body in front of the tire is what they are talking about.
