I have the basic n130 Uconnect + Connectivity Package as well. Once your phone is properly paired with the system and you can make calls, just hit the Voice Command button and say "Bluetooth Audio." It should automatically switch over to the BT streaming input and you'll be good to go to send whatever audio you want from your phone!

I'm going to order the proclip solution now... my decision came down to the Proclip or the Mountek CD-slot solution here:
Amazon.com: Mountek nGroove Universal CD Slot Mount (Black): GPS & Navigation

While the CD slot solution gets great reviews, I'm choosing the Proclip simply because I really don't want to block any of the radio buttons.

There is a flat aera under the remote window buttons. I put my sticky disc on it and mounted the window mount to it. My GPS now sits in a perfect spot where I can see it and it is not visible from the outside.

Regarding the RAM-X mount;

Any concern over your passenger becoming severly lacerated on the edge of the mounting plate in an accident or harsh drop off on the trail?

Looks like an unforgiving steel plate with and exposed edge pointed toward the passengers face.

Or is that just the way it looks in the photo?

I highly recommend the Mountek nGroove. It fits into the cd slot which no one uses anyway. About $25 on Amazon. Fits great very secure no suction cup on window, etc.

Under the top tray (2012-13 models) there is a single screw in the center. I use it to mount a RAM ball mount and then a phone or GPS or camera (or multiple) can sit there and based on length of arm you choose can move around for optimal access or view or hide deep in the tray. Run 12VDC power up from the power on the lower dash and up behind the dash and window with a quick disconnect at the end. Easy to remove when parked.

I have been looking for a way to mount a camera. Can you give us some more info and a picture?

Hey tomthebomb, with that Proclip, could you put the attachment plate that the phone attachment hooks into on the other side of the nav/radio unit if you wanted to? I ask because I know there is a USB hook-up on that side of the radio and if I wanted to run a cord from that to my phone, I would rather have it on the same side as the USB hook-up rather than the opposite, thereby keeping the cord shorter and less obtrusive. Just a thought I was having, but don't really know if it could work or not without obstructing the nav screen.

I bought one recently before seeing this thread... I've used ProClip in cars before, so figured it would be great for the Jeep. I love it. The ability to go landscape or vertical is great. It's great to have a 'heads up' view of it when people are calling or incoming texts, etc. At a glance, I can see if it's someone I want to respond to or not, then I can easily use voice to text to respond.

Proclip

Just installed my Proclip mount for my iPhone 5. Very nice items here. This isn't your standard Chinese trash. Made in Sweden. Very surprised how well these are made. A little pricey but worth every penny. Here are some picks.

This is on my 2013 Rubi Unlimited.

Proclip Item 854548
Proclip Item 514423

+1

There is a little rubber pad that that is perfect for my phone. I purchased an extra USB cord and I snake it out of the center console and right up to my phone. I just leave the cord there all of the time. It stays out of sight, and I can always have the USB port on the HU in case I need another port.

I might even add some plasti-dip to the area for a little more rubber "grip".

On a short trip, I just keep the phone in my pocket and connect via Connectivity. On a longer trip, I turn on the 4G antenna and satellite connection...so I keep it plugged in to not drain the battery.

I'd love to hear and see more about this method. Can you post up some pictures showing the details?

I plasti-dipped that area.

Sorry, just saw this.

Don't think it will fit the other side. I connect by Bluetooth so don't need the USB. With 22 hours of battery time I don't need a charging mount either.

You might give Proclip a call. They might have a way to make it work.

I went with the PanaVise mount. The vehicle mount is great, if a bit flexible... It tends to move a bit more than I'd like. The holder is crap and will be replaced... It rattles and makes so much noise when empty that I have to slide it off the mount if I'm not throwing my iPhone in on a quick trip. It is in a good position for both use as my music hub and turn-by-turn GPS.

Here's a not-so-great pic from when I installed my heated seat switches:

Just ordered Panavise bracket for my '12, and RAM cradle for iPhone 5. Going to have to drill two holes in the Panavise, but I'm hoping this will turn out sharp. Will post pics when complete.

$20 iOttie from amazon

Amazon.com: iOttie One-Touch Windshield Dashboard Car Mount Holder for iPhone 5 4S 4 3GS Samsung Galaxy S3 S2 Epic Touch 4G HTC OneX EVO 4G Rhyme DROID RAZR BIONIC INCREDIBLE 2 CHARGE Google Nexus BlackBerry Torch LG Revolution GPS Compact Size 360 d

I've been running this mount for a few months. I'm not sure if it is the best on the market, but for the price it cannot be beat. It's a plastic construction. It works well for video and navigation. It has a bit of a jiggle that can make reading small cross street names hard with just a quick glance. It has a sticky suction cup, so your not going to be able to remove it for just occasional use. There is one guy who posted a "customer image" on the amazon page that shows it left a bit of a ring on whatever type of car he had. When I was running the very large Otterbox defender case it worked with no problem as shown in the picture/video above.

USB PLUG $6.50

Amazon.com: Griffin Powerjolt Dual Universal USB Micro Colors May Vary: MP3 Players & Accessories
I have bought 3 of these. One of them that I gave as a gift didn't work. They are pretty cheap so I would say that's not too bad. I like that it sits really flush. I got a cheap china USB wire off amazon too, but I guess they had to take that one off. I run it through the "Oh $*** bar" so that it doesn't dangle on my stick shift. It still reaches my mount with no problems.

I use Mountek nGroove Universal CD Slot Mount (Black) (Amazon.com: Mountek nGroove Universal CD Slot Mount (Black): GPS & Navigation) and I love it.

I have no issues and only the top row of buttons are blocked on the radio. Its sturdy, lets me see my iphone screen when using GPS, allows me to run the retractable AUX cable to my iphone and play music and all in all looks really clean.
