looks nice, with the exception of the ridiculous/huge black sticker on the hood
why does jeep insist on putting those on all the recent special editions?

Designer:
"To reduce the visual mass created by the painted fenders."

Sales:
"No one is buying these, let's stick them onto the special editions."

So are those seats different than standard with orange trim. It almost looks like leather on the parts that you don't sit on, which would be a new one.

I really like this. Much better than the MW3 special edition. Did the dealer have a price tag on?

Winter Chill

I fixed up the photo a bit, to have an idea how an Unlimited Arctic would/will look like in Winter Chill color.

I like it. Nice color with the black wheels. Snortzy interior too. I can take or leave the black bib.

Do you really think Winter Chill will throw that much blue?

Tried to adjust it to the Frankfurt auto show photos. Less would be more.
Just put up some more of my color fantasies here:

You always over pay when u buy special editions. Get a base like me and customize it . I guarantee you can find the wheels and decals on ebay and make the same jeep for thousands less. Personally the 'Call of Duty" emblems look tougher.

" My two cents worth"

I agree, you can definitely find all that after market for a lot cheaper and then have it the way you want it yourself.

It is a nice looking Jeep, though. Then again, what Jeep isn't?!?

My wife has an Islander edition. Awesome Surf Blue color, seats with blue inserts, Rubi tires & shocks + floor mats. The Islander was based on the 2010 Sport & the whole special package was around $1,500. Wish they had some reasonable specials now, but I guess Jeep marketing figured that they can charge more for a unique color & special tweaks. I guess you are right, for the extra money I spent on the Arctic I could have gotten Wildboar hardtop win sunroof inserts, or/and a custom paint job. I am the victim of predatory marketing!

Yea, but are you happy with it?! That's all that matters and it's impossible not to be happy with a Jeep! Haha

This is a rendering from Jeep Canada. If Winter Chill looks like this, I'm ALL IN! Some of the other colors on that site are spot on (Dozer & Crush), Deep Cherry Red is close, same with Flame Red. Cosmo Blue is not even close on that website - it's way too dark. So difficult to gauge accuracy. I'd LOVE it if it came out looking like this pic though.

Nah, it's more like something the homies would drive than rice. I think it looks cool though as long as it can back up its homified look with some snow capabilities which obviously it can.

The hood black out is for sun deflection and im guessing they assume driving in snow would do the same. Its why school buses hoods are black.I like the idea of it but the dealer near me has a 4 door for 40k and change...id rather not.
