2012 electronic traction control

I recently purchased a 2012 Wrangler Sport, my first Jeep. I have driven 4x4 trucks and off road motorcycles for many years. This is my first vehicle with ETC. I took it to a sandy road , stopped in loose sand, gunned it, then walked back and looked at the tracks. Both wheels spun then both stopped spinning. Several more tests and I never was able to spin one wheel. The ETC so far has worked much better then I expected. I have friends with older SUVs that would never spin a wheel and therefor simply not move in slick conditions.
Anybody have any idea how much torque difference the ETC will tolerate? Will it take the place of a locker or limited slip?

not positive, but im pretty sure the brake lock differential and ETC are separate. the brake lock is what would act more like a limited slip.

Have not had a chance to play in loose stuff yet. But in 2 wheel. Tried to brake a tire loose from a stop was hard.
So far, I like it.
