I would be interested as well. I do remember seeing something on here awhile back. I will look and see if I can find it.

And then...

And...

And the left over...

Very easy with a sharp knife and some paper for a template. I am going to glue mine on permanently as the Velcro isn't that good. Gotta find a good glue that withstands 55 plus degrees C.

First of all, looks great!

Second, I live in AZ, where it gets 46C so I'm curious how much this is helping with heat in Dubai.

Will you let us know how the "homemade" version of Hot head liner does for you? I wouldn't mind saving several hundred dollars if it keeps the interior the jeep just as cool! KD

Working awesome !!!, ( I have no hair, bold up the top ; ) so the radiant heat coming through my black hardtop was seriously cooking my head in 45 plus degrees Celsius. Now, it's cool as and also a tad quieter in the car.

That said if I could have gotten hotheads here I probably would have done so, but the freight costs were restrictive for me.

Very happy with end result. : D

2011 JK headliner template

Interested if anyone has headliner template for 2011 JK 4 door. What adhesive works best with foam liners? Purchased a roll of diamond plate looking foam pad designed as floor mat from Big Lots for $18.00. Looks as if it will be enough for entire roof sections.

Why not make your own template? Just use some paper or cardboard to get the size correct.

I replaced a headliner in an old sunbird.. Got it from this place : http://www.wlsheadliners.com/3m-adva...-adhesive.html The adhesive is awesome and meant for the heat that a roof takes.

3m double sided foam tape for automotive trim will keep them in place. You can buy at Meijer for $7/roll

cutting dense foam is easily accomplished with a cheap electric carving knife...think turkey dinner...
