compared to my first jeep i kinda think that they didnt have to cover the roll bar tubes and windshield frame etc.. with plastic, loving the engine, not liking the coil springs softish ride but that will change with the lift , and ahh yes, the sound bar would be useful it it made a sound (like the aftermarket one in the old days), intermittent wipers are a fringe benifitt

I'm loving the 2012. Never had a Jeep before but have gotten great advice from all the folks here at WF. Likes are many, dislikes are few. My gas mileage is about the same as the Ford Explorer I drove before so that's no big deal. My only real dislike is the PITA rear window on the soft top. But I think I can live with that! Couple of pics for you...cause Kjeeper loves it when I post the wheels he wants!

Traded my well built 06 LJ for my 2012 JK and what a difference. It's like night and day between the two. This is by far the best jeep I have ever owned in the 30 years of owning Jeeps. What's not to like about the JK's.

Go test drive one.........you'll wind up buying it, just like me

Mine so far has been perfect, no squeaks, no leaks, motor sounds great. Suspension is supple. All the creature comforts are first rate.

5 stars.

I have about 1000 miles on my Unlimited Sport and have been on some pretty easy off road situations. Loving it so far. The last one I drove was an 09 Manual 2 -Door, was not happy with the power or acceleration on that one. I have 35" tires and 4" lift, and I think it handles highway driving just fine. The brakes are a little weak with the added rolling weight but it was expected. I also own a 74 Blazer and an 80 Toyota Pickup that I abuse, but the leaf springs are killing my back and hope to lessen that problem with the Jeep. I will be selling those soon, money will go towards Jeep. Once I get some body armor I plan on trying some harder trails where I live, I am afraid to tear something off at this point. If anyone is in the Tucson/Sierra Vista/Tombstone area, I am always up for some offroading unless I am hunting, send me a PM.

So far so good at 350 miles. Really love the updated interior and engine/tranny over my previous 09.

Ok, if I have to pick a real dislike, it's that the stock tires on anything but a Rubi suck, and the size they chose to go with doesn't have a lot of options for good tires. Almost forces you to either do a lift or go with a smaller size whether you are replacing wheels or not.

She's a beauty

Started with a '60 Willy's and moved on to a '76 CJ 5. left the fold for a wife and 3 kids. Came back for the 2011 2 door Rubicon and ordered my "CRUSH" 2012 2 door Rubicon in December. It has 200 miles on it and a garage full of after market parts waiting for the weather to break. What a beast! Love the new engine and the interior is great. What more could a mid-life crisis want?

Did I mention I love my Jeep?

2100kms on it in 2 weeks, no ticking (other then normal valve train noise), 6spd is great (doesn't slip out of gear) and I find myself everyday looking for an excuse to drive it. Getting approximately 21 MPG UK/17.5 MPG US with mostly hwy (90%). Not bad for winter driving! If it gets better when it's broken in as most are saying I will be extremely pleased. Engine has lots of pep! Find myself not even gearing down for most of the hills around here but when I do 5th is 700rpm higher and it just gets up and goes in a hurry. Best Vehicle I've owned to date!

Thats funny. I kept my xb for commuting to work. Funny thing is, i've driven the jeep more than the xb.

I am loving my 2012 JKUR Auto with 3.73 gears. I still haven't figured out it's Him/Her's name yet. I like RUBI-DOO, but other people like RUBI-Roo.

Love my 2012 JK! Choosing my mods carefully so far and I'm happy with all of them! The Duratracs are amazing in slippery stuff too! The updated engine/tranny make a world of difference in everyday driving! As soon as I can get to a comp. I'll post pics! Doing everything on an IPhone right now and I can't find a way to post a pic! :/

I cant complain at all about the my 2012 Rubi....other then the fact that all the stock parts are still on and my after market parts are sitting or not ordered. Never had a issue anywhere offroad or on. It takes off when I need it to digs into the trail when it has to. I have never owned a earlier model so I have nothing to compaire to but now that ive had one I never want to own another vehicle....it just wouldnt come close to this one.

Just passed 1000 miles and we are LOVING our Jeep! I have a supercharged Jaguar sitting in my driveway and it hasn't been driven since we picked up the Jeep One thing I hadn't counted on is how much I like the high seat position and the view of the hood while driving (weird huh?). I also enjoy the "Jeep wave" and the smiles I get from non Jeep drivers. I remember smiling every time I saw a Jeep on the road and would always say "someday". Anyway we can't wait for some nice weather around here to get the top off. If we're having this much fun with the top on, it's got to be even better with the top off....

I don't see any snow on the ground in your photo, weather looks good enough, I've had my freedom panels of twice now.

I wanna got my doors off too tho.

1300 miles on my Goober-con (my 11 month old said gooooooobbeeeerrrr when he first saw it.- hence the name). Love the beast. Like everybody else has said, way too many great things to say about it, not many dislikes at this point. A couple of dislikes: the torque converter lockup (dip in 2nd gear) during heavy acceleration and the blue dye leaching from jeans on the saddle leather. If that's all I can complain about, then I think Chrysler did one hell of a good job.
Took it out for the first time topless at a balmy 41 degrees, a little chilly but well worth the fun!!!
Would I buy it again.....without a doubt.
