2012 jk question

i am new to the whole forum thing,

does anybody know if the 2012 mw3 has the vacuum assist pump in the same location as the other 2012 jks ? the reason im asking is i have a 2012 2d rubi, and will be relocating it. just wondering if the factory put the pump somewhere else for the Mopar/AEV bumpers

here is a pic of what i am calling the vacuum assist pump just in case i am calling it by the wrong name

I'm guessing yes.
The MW3 is more of a level of trim than anything else.
Anyone else know better than my guess?

I don't know what bumper comes with the MW3. If it's AEV, call them and ask them if the vacuum pump needs to be relocated, or if the bracket interferes.

It does not have to be relocated with all bumpers. I installed my Rampage bumper without having to move it.

If you do have to move it, many bumper mfr's (such as LOD), provide a relocation bracket to do it. If not, you can buy one from Jason @ Krawl Off-Road (forum vendor) for around $50...Pretty sure it's made by EVO.

it needs to be relocated on any bumper/winch plate combination where the winch plate sits behind or "below" the top of the bumper. LoD Offroad has a relocation kit, they ship with their bumpers if you indicate you are on a 2012. You might call Chris, to see if they will sell u a relo kit independent the bumper. Took 20 minutes to do the relo (10 of which was finding the right angle grinder)

that is what i thought but was not sure. The mw3 verson comes with the aev premium front bumper (winch ready) so do they relocate the pump at the factory? If so why didnt they move it out of the way for the other 2012s
