2012 JK Water sloshing behind dash???

When I turn my 2012 JKU on, I hear water sloshing behind the dash. Every now and then when I accelerate, I hear it as well. It doesn't happen all the time and there is nothing leaking.

Any ideas what this is and is it normal?

Could it be the gas tank that you think is coming from behind the gas? Every once in a while I can hear that slosh around

i know this may sound crazy but I have the same type of sound in my Dodge pickup and when a mechanic friend was driving with me and he heard it he said my radiator fluid was low. He said it was air in the lines. Find it hard to believe on your 2012 but you never know !

Yes! My 2012 does the same, sounds like normal either AC fluid or radiator fluid just moving around. I only notice is right after I start driving and I turn left or right I'll hear it sloshing around...I have never heard it past the first minute or two in the car. I don't think it's something to be worried about, but yeah I'd like to know what it is.

I believe my brother's 2010 does the same thing, except he's convinced the water is somewhere in his hardtop (which I'm not sure is possible), but I'd guess it's coming from the same location as mine.

People drive with their radios low enough to hear noise?

I had a '06 Liberty prior to my '12 JKU and had the same issue with the sloshing water sound. Turns out it was due to low coolant from a slow radiator leak. The sound would go away once I added the proper amount of antifreeze.
