2012 Lift + shocks question

Hey everyone,
I need help . I own a 12 JK 2dr and I'm intending to fit a 2.5 teraflex budget boost with King OEM 2.5 adjustable shocks. Now , since the lift kit is a 2.5" gain in height shouldn't the shock be 2.5" in length as well ? Ive seen the king shocks in the internet and they only offer them in 0-2" lift or from 3-5" lift. What would be the correct shock length for a 2.5" lift ? your help is much appreciated

Run the longer shocks and do yourself a favor and get the coil lift that Teraflex offers.

Don't forget, with shocks longer then 26" extended you will need the exhaust spacer for the 2012's jeeps.

Couldn't you just limit the travel with proper bumpstops or change out the driveshaft and eliminate two issues, 1 being the over sized driveshaft that is not serviceable and 2 being rerouting or spacing of the exhaust?
