Nope.... I have a soft top. I do know that the striker plate on the passenger door keeps getting out of line. The dealer has had to fix it once already and now it's messing up again.
And I don't notice any ticking but I haven't really listened to it that closely. I've taken it off road twice now... Got into some deep stuff, had a cracked head replaced (not my fault) and it still runs great. I'm going to assume that everyone has some kind of noise... We are just worried about any noise we hear. My advice: keep up your scheduled maintenance, and enjoy it!
