you can beat a corvette off the line?????

anyway i like the orange but im concerned about the fad color and the fact that the color changes every time you look at it.

the red has everything i wanted when i started looking at the wrangler. the orange just has everything. and the M/T which i didnt even like but i still want. ahhhhh what to do?!?!?!?!?

Since you're getting a Sahara, i would make sure it has the 3.73 rear end AND the limited slip options. Red always looks good imo. I don't know, but for a 4 dr, I would definitely get an auto. My other car is a Miata, short throw, easy clutch, snik snik....I had all intentions of getting a manual 2 dr, but liked the auto better, so I ordered one the way I wanted. Extra 5 wks but way worth the wait. Couldn't be happier with my choice and NO REGRETS!

Heck yes you can smoke a corvette with a manual. Popping into 2nd your wheels will squawk. Not to mention you can pass him while stuck in a ditch, snow, mud, etc AND your vehicle is multiplicitaly convertible. And can carry a cooler at the same time, and bicycles, tents, more than two people... The list goes one. No one in their right mind who owns a corvette or prius goes..."Ooooh! Lets go to Moab or the dunes and go ridin."

The only way a jeep, any jeep, would smoke a corvette, is if both vehicles were on ice or snow. Smoke another one.

I just came from an 02 Vette and there isn't a Jeep that wasn't extremely modified that would come close to smoking it Unless of course there was snow, mud, or any other obstacle.

Oh..you guys really haven't played with a stick jeep and have a neighbor with a corvette. <sigh> No, you won't get them in the top end, everyone knows that because you are driving something with the aerodynamics of a brick. But from the start.. Go baby go.

Even from a stop the jeep doesn't have a chance against the vet. My neighbor made me scream like a little girl in his and he had just gunned it in the parking lot of The Home Depot.....caught me unaware that he was going to do that and I was looking down at the floor. Gave me one of those heart in my throat feelings. It is fun to catch them off guard at a light though.

Well, I do have the 12' Pentastar. I can take my neighbors vette, an 09' in the block but after that I'm pretty much looking at his tail lights. BUT IT IS FUN! Also... I can use his vette as a practice climbing ramp...err, at least once.
