2012 Rubicon Order ?'s - Newbie

Hi Everyone

Well, it looks like I'm going to be a new Jeep owner I just drove a 2012 Rubi Unlimited and it's everything I hoped it would be - much better (for me) than the 2011. Time to say good-bye to my '02 vette.

I've decided on the Rubi even though it's a bit overkill for my needs right now (mostly a DD). I do want to take out into the backroads (if you can call them that) of the Sierras and Mojave Desert. They can get pretty rough at times and prefer to have the extra capabilities of the Rubi since I'll be solo most of the time.

I have a couple of newbie questions about options:

Which Nav system is better and why?

Is there any disadvantage to having the max tow option?

I'm thinking of getting 4.10's so I can get taller tires down the road.

Here's what I'm looking at:

Black or Green with Hard top
Automatic
Nav (which ?)
4.10 gearing
Max Tow package (?)
Supplemental Airbags
Connectivity Group

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks much!!

Just Got Mine Last Week And LOVE It ... Black on Black . Duel Top . Automatic. ...I went with the 430N Media .. Connectivity Group and the Max Tow Package and LOVE it .. Bluetooth was easy to link .. Vioce recodnition is awesome..
I have still have my 2006 unlimited 2door... What a differance between the two. Way more power way more room.
As far as the tow package ... debaitable if worth the money.. Good tow package.. nothing special .. Aftermarket one for my 06 cost about $250 and I had to install... Figured for the little more in differance was worth me not getting on my back to install.

I believe the biggest advantage to the tow package, besides the higher gearing, is a larger tranny cooler. Overall with an automatic, the tow package is quite the upgrade. And it gets you a hitch to boot!

Is the tranny cooler actually larger with the tow pkg than the stock cooler that comes standard with the AT?

Thanks guys The improved tranny cooling seems to be a bit of a mystery. The dealer says yes, it's bigger, but I can't confirm that with anything I've seen from Chrysler

I guess the only way we'll know is to measure one cooler with the HD tow pkg, and one w/o.
