2012 Rubicon with AEV parts almost done...

Still have to add my rear light, shorter Rubi hood stickers, turn signals (leds), stereo, fog lamps(leds), Spod, and alarm... then Ill be officially broke.
What do guys think about the AEV corner guards? Thats the only piece I am up in the air about adding.

So far
AEV 3.5 Inch RS DualSport suspension
Front and Rear AEV Bumpers
AEV Heat Reduction Hood
Warn 9.0Ti winch
Synthetic Rope
Argent Pintlers
JW LED Hedlights
IPF HID Flood
IPF HID Spot (seriously kicks ass)

Very NICE!!!!

Do you have a pic of the back? Does the AEV rear bumper have a swing-out tire carrier?

Awesome looking/functional Rubi!

Thank you for the positive comments!

Yes I have the AEV rear bumper with Tire Carrier, Ill take a pic tomorrow.

Headlights were $880... expensive but well worth it since the stock headlights are horrible.

How do you like the ride on the AEV suspension with the new Reservoir shocks? I have the 3.5" Premium lift with the Regular AEV shocks and I'm happy. Are those that much better? (Did you demo both?)

Man, the more I look at your pics the more it makes me want to possibly change my mind on my new Jeep being white.

that looks awesome! i essentially have the same build plan as you except i went with the base 3.5" AEV suspension lift, and i'm also a few steps behind. hoping to order my AEV hood next month with winch soon to follow.

i love the silver too. i debated it as well, but have a silver LR3, so decided to change it up a bit and go all white.

also, are those 35"s or 37"s.

i would forego the corner gaurds. IMO...looks much cleaner. i guess if you need the extra protection that is a different story.

Id was going to get white too.. I think both colors look killer with the black AEV parts. Cant go wrong with either.. both are easy to keep clean.

Suspension rides way better than stock.... The duals are really only needed if you plan on wheeling for extended periods of time. From what AEV says there is no difference in ride from the regular shocks since its the same shock only with a second reservoir.

They are the Mopar enhanced rock rails, Part # is 82210575AC (4door)

Yours looks killer! I was going to do white too.. I flipped flopped around for week until I settled on silver.

35" Toyo Open Countrys.. Kinda wish I would have went with 37's but I didnt want the hassle of changing the driveshafts.

First, your jeep looks great! I just ordered the AEV front bumper as well, but I was having problems figuring out which winch would fit. Did you install the 9.5 cti-s? I am considering the 9.5cti-s, 9.5xp-s, and the M8000-s. Could you share you reasoning on your choice of the winch?

One other question regarding your supplemental lighting: how did you wire it in? Do you have a separate rocker switch for the IPF lights? I was told to wait as daystar didn't have a switch panel for the 2012.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Do you have one spot light and one flood light, or are you hiding another pair of lights somewhere?

Outstanding! A good looking quality build with top notch components. That certainly is a build to be proud of. Always love pics with Palm trees at this time of year!

One light is a HID spot beam, the other is a HID Flood the combo works very well. I plan on adding a Poison Spyder Rigid winch mount LED bar as well.

Hey mate, very nice rig bro. Love the aev parts. Just a heads up for ya with your shocks mate, should should get rubber boots to go around the bottom of the shocks as then it's protected from the dust/dirt, otherwise they will be busted in no time...

Nice shocks btw. I also love the heat reduction hood. Very nice jeep mate, you should be proud.

Looks great! I don't think I would ever tempt fate by spending that much on mods. Karma hates me and mine would get stolen or totaled in a week or less.

Out of curiosity, does one's insurance cover all those types of mods in the event a person's Jeep was totaled? Would I have to carry extra coverage for that or declare the aftermarket parts installed, provide proof of purchase, etc? Not sure how that would work. Anyone have firsthand experience?
