I pulled out onto a very busy access road today in my 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S under moderate to heavy acceleration and much to my surprise, the tach redlined and the transmission was completely disconnected in Drive, (AT)! I shifted to Neutral and hit the emergency signal as I coasted, then shifted back into Drive to slowly regain forward momentum. Anyone seen anything like this? This is not a good thing to happen in heavy traffic, much less on the trail in a heavy acceleration "get me out of this hole" scenario! Taking it to Jeep this week, but would appreciate any insight before then!
