2012 Suspension Lift N/A from Mopar

I just checked with Mopar and the suspension lifts from Mopar will NOT fit on the 2012 because of the change in the exhaust routing.

I actually don't want the Mopar brand, but if this one doesn't fit, it's safe to say that the aftermarket won't fit either.

Has anyone heard if any of the big-named aftermarket guys have one yet?

There's been several '12s with lifts already installed. I don't have a list of brands but some must fit.

Its my understanding that the mopar lifts are an aftermarket lift that are painted difrent. I could be wrong but thats what one of my friends was told buy a dealer last year. I bet someone will chime in and corect me if im wrong. ;-)

Think you right

That weird exhaust thing is the reason I heard also.

Lifts are being installed, but there is the exhaust issue at full articulation for the 3.5" lifts. Not sure yet about others.

It is my understanding that AEV has a 2012 compatible 3.5" lift with Bilsteins for @ the same price as the MOPAR branded lift. The AEV lift is more complete and has the PROCAL module. That is my current top of the list. Sept MOPAR parts flyer does not list any lifts for Wranglers including the previous lifts they carried. That might mean that they are dropping lifts altogether. OTOH, a press release magazine article about the new COD SE that I read listed a lMOPAR Lift as a future accessory for the Wrangler.

At this point, I think it's a wait to see thing.

I think I've settled on a 2" OME suspension lift. The folks at Quadratec couldn't tell me if OME has one for the 2012.

There must be a Mopar lift for 2012, because from the Jeep website:
2012 Wrangler | Call of Duty: MW3 Edition | Jeep
RAISE YOUR GAME
There's an available upfit for Call of Duty: MW3 Edition for those who want to take it to the next level. This dealer-installed Mopar Performance Parts kit includes: Warn Winch, 2-inch Lift Kit, and Classic 5-hole wheels in Black. The 2-inch Lift Kit rides like a normal Wrangler on-road, but gives articulation like a 4-lift off-road. It's designed to work with the Electronic Stability Control[1] and Brake Lock Differential and can accommodate up to 35-inch tires. Includes: springs, shocks, new track bar, steering stabilizer, sway bar links and all hardware.

I attached a chart of the 2007 - 2011 lift part numbers (2"). I'm waiting to see if the 2012 part numbers change.

If I had a 4 door (any trans), it would already have a lift. However, I am giving careful consideration to the driveshaft angles on my 2 door / auto.

Suspension and the 2dr Wrangler

In my humble opinion, if I were Jeep back in 07 I would have extended the wheelbase of all 2 door Wranglers to 103.5 instead of 2 inches like they did. It would have made them a whole lot roomier with extra storage in the back as well as improved the driveline angle issues. Just say'n that's all.

While I've had a 2007 and a 2012, i kind of liked the stance of the TJ. I liked it a little smaller. Don't get me wrong, i love my 2012 Rubicon, i liked the TJ size too. Most of my driving is just me anyway.
