Stay as far away from 20" wheels as possible. This JKU is sitting on Rockstar wheels with Bushwaker flat flares. Oh its a rubi too which is even more of a crime that it has those wheels.

Rock star wheels, can tell ya that.
Not the most popular among the "wheeling" crowd.
Rating thing?

What rating are you referring to? That Jeep is a Rubicon with flat fenders, a 2" body lift (don't do it) and Rockstar rims (much better choices available). You are looking at the equivalent of a neutered Rubicon.

Yeh.. Tire rating- E is for a HEAVY vehicle.
C is more common for a jeep/DD.
D isin the mid

The E rated tire was a poor fit for the TJ Rubicon.
I traded mine for a C rated Durastrac

This black seems a little more glossy than the factory black. Wonder if he added a couple layers of clearcoat?

This is just wrong. If this is the look you want, why not buy a hummer?

Don't know why but it looks great... to me
Although I prefer it with the stock bumpers better...

Alright...no rock crawling but off the pavement no less. Never been on sand before but it was a blast. I'll definitely be going back. The horses were happy too!

Any tips for the best way to clean off sand (both inside and out)?

Looks like you were on the VA side. The MD side has much softer sand and 12 miles of beach to drive on. I just hose the underside of mine down and at the end of the season I use the shop vac on the inside.

Let's see some 2012 rock crawling pics. When my '09 was less than three weeks old, I was flexing it on the rocks, scraping rock rails, frame rails and skid plates.

No way, more pristine rubicons in 3-5 years that I can buy used and save a boat load of $$$ on.

Seems simple enough.

I was actually a bit further south--the outer banks. Those fence posts you see in the first pic mark the NC-VA border.

I knew you were on the wrong side of the fence, I just assumed it was Assateage because your location was listed as DC Metro.

Cool pic. Assateague was our first choice but I saw the OSV access was restricted last weekend. I'll be down there next season for sure.

Got my '12 Rubi out in some swamp this weekend down here in FL, unfortunately there are no rocks to be had to crawl in North FL, but I damn near sank it...The mud here is like quick sand...

Also a pic of my brother's 2010 Sport, he was getting through some nastiness with that thing....He didn't venture over this big log into a pond/swamp thing I went into and barely recovered from (that first pic is where I got it out of the water into a safe zone before taking the pic, I'm standing on that log)

You guys in Florida are Geologically, much older than we are in California-

Our rocks haven't turned into MUD YET, we don't have any mud-and thats GOOD !

Jimbo - I hear ya on that...It sure is fun to play in the mud sometimes, but it is a real PITA to try getting it off from every nook your mud tires have flung it!

The last time I played in mud--they dropped the "H" bomb on Hiroshima !!

So I vowed to stay away from mud --

I always drop some "F" bombs when trying to clean the mud off. A few minutes of fun always turns into several hours of clean up.

Yep ,just got done doing some offloading in my neck of the woods , with my 2012 Rubicon. I'm pretty much considered a bad ass in this hood.
