Pre-order area? You'll need to go to your dealer to order . Here's a post discussing the options available for 2012:

WHAT

THE

#&!!

IS

HEADER

ORANGE

???

Please oh please oh please oh please oh please don't let it be some lame masculenity-challenged light "froshy" sherbert orange!!

The orange on a Wrangler has to SCREAM "LOOK AT ME BI+CHES...I'M ORANGE!!! BUWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!"

Orange is my first choice, white is my second (safe choice).

I wish they had kept the colors but I bet the Japan issues played a big role in the changes.

I'm hoping it will be a nice enamel orange like the old muscle car "Hugger Orange"!

If it is Normandie Blue Metalic, the only color with that name for which I found the actual color online is this:

I dont like the steel blue they used to have either. I want a dark blue or a deeper Royal Blue. The one you put up is definately not what I want.

Mitsubishi had a color called Normandie Blue Metallic also. I also found this Normandy Blue from Willy's in the 1940s. Interesting. Darker. hard to see.

Hyundai has a color called Black Forest Green right now. Wonder if it will be the same. Looks slightly lighter than the current Green.

I'm hitting up my dealer first thing Monday AM, negotiating at worst 2% of invoice below invoice, and making sure I have a refundable deposit.

Also, going to ask about when the last day to change the order details will be. Since production doesn't start until 7/25, hoping we may have some runaway to make changes...

Hope we get to see colors before production starts, but somehow I doubt it will happen.

I was gonna be asking the same things about order change dates etc because of the colors.

Also gonna be keeping an eye out for which transfer case is in the Rubi b/c of all that AWD jazz.

I'm only gonna sleep on it because I don't rush into $33k orders without doing so (says they guy who's going to order without test driving the new engine or even seeing the colors first...LOL)

I was hoping a Wrangler with AWD was just a rumor. If Jeep eliminated 4 WD in Wranglers it would be the biggest mistake they could ever make. I for one would not buy a Wrangler, I'm sure there would be a lot of other people thinking along those lines. Wrangler and 4WD go hand in hand. Offering AWD as an option might happen to increase sales, but.......................

It wasn't a rumor, rather a misconception of what Chrysler calls the transmission configuration. In factory-speak awd transmission means that it can be paired with a transfer case whether it be full time or part time. From their viewpoint there is no need to discern which. People saw awd and started their sky is falling panic as is typical of the internet.

Did a search on Deep Molten Red Pearl Coat Jeep. A lot of difference between the Molten Red Liberty and Molten Red 2012 Grand Cherokee. I would think 2012 JK would match 2012 GC but who knows.

Crush? Like orange crush?
Gecko? Another Green perhaps?
Any chance we see paint chips soon?

Can one change a custom order before production starts - say you order on June 6th, but paint chips come out 2 weeks later and you want to switch colors, is that possible?

Thanks!

Yes as long as it does not pass C status or have a VIN assigned.

Cool! Although I wonder if it will look weird since the Fenders will still be Black. Unlike the Sahara. Or maybe that will be part of the option?
