Do Rubicons with auto get 4.10 std, optional? I ordered with Max tow. I was looking over dealers shoulder as he checked the boxes and saw no mention of gear ratios. Thought all Rubicons had 4.1 but now not sure.
Bob
Good taste... Ordered same on 6/6, except I got side air bags...

It should be 4.10. I'm pretty sure ALL Rubicons have 4.10. I believe that overrides the 3.73s of the Max Tow package also.

I believe both. One included delivery fee, one didn't. End up the same. I think.

All Pat's vehicle model MSRP's are $800 more than Milous'. Milous cites $800 delivery, Pat does not. Looks pretty conclusive...

Thanks Tom, my first Jeep too! According to this board I'm ordering for all the wrong reasons. My plans are small lift, 35's, very few dirt roads and mostly chauffeuring my grandkids around with the top down. At 64, nobody can make me rock crawl! I ordered the body color top and fenders too 'cause I liked the look, shame on me!

Bill you have ordered the perfect Jeep!

Hey ndrugby, I was so pissed to see chevrolet avalanches in the casinos. That and the ugly traverse. It's funny how the whole Chrysler line has been picked on for bad interiors up to this year and when I go look in and feel the interior of an avalanche it's pretty sh!tty to say the least.

If I missed any of the options just let me know and I will post them.

I think it is totally awesome that you are going to drive a Jeep. Your grandkids are going to love you for taking them around in that! All of their friends are going to be jealous. Well just about everybody is going to be jealous.

Brutal. Those things are hideous. Are they serious thinking that having those cars to give away will attract people to gamble with them? Put a JK in there and I guarantee you that casino sees a sudden spike in gambling.

I will say, I do like my Suburban, but then again with 4 kids under 8, your options are limited, especially when you exclude minivans.

Looks pretty comprehensive. Enjoy your vacation. I hope you're in Vegas livin it up.

What am I still not getting here?

AHQ cost more than AHT.

But, as originally Posted by Milous:

AHT TRAILER TOW GROUP (available on all models except Rubicon Unlimited)
CLASS II RECEIVER HITCH (Sport Unlimited, Sahara Unlimited)
CLASS V RECEIVER HITCH (Sport, Sahara, Rubicon)
TRAILER SWAY DAMPING (all except Rubicon Unlimited)
TRAILER TOW W/4-PIN CONNECTOR WIRING (all except Rubicon Unlimited)

AHQ MAX TOW PACKAGE (available on Unlimited models only)
3.73 REAR AXLE RATIO (Sport Unlimited, Sahara Unlimited)
CLASS II RECEIVER HITCH (all Unlimited models)
TRAILER TOW W/4-PIN CONNECTOR WIRING (all Unlimited models)

So, On a JKU Rubicon, I seem to be paying more for less? AHQ must include a tranny cooler, or something....

I noted a difference if pricing of the auto transmission between Sport/Sahara and Rubicon. The sport/sahara are msrp'd at $1125 and the Rubicon is $1075. Regardless that is a $200-$250 uplift for the 5 speed auto from the 4 speed auto. This is about 1% from my projection. I have no issues whatsoever. I'm not sure why the Rubi 5 speed is $50 less? Thanks for the information guys. The next really key date we will be looking at will be the 18th.

Rubi keeps 4.10 gears, all others gain 3.73's with auto tranny. So you're paying for the gearing upgrade, except with Rubi.

Notice the difference between 'Group' and 'Package'.

When you're paying more for less, like with the AHQ, you're getting their 'package' alright!

Not much change at all on pricing. That's very good. Still $40k+ large ones but hey, who's counting. Looks like I didn't get the Sirius, smokers and tints although it might be standard on the Unlimited. I feel real good now. Thanks to Pat, Milous, ndrubgy and the rest of you guys who make this forum a great place to learn and share info. Have a happy 4th all of you.

If hand is on steering wheel lifting 4 fingers while thumb is still under the wheel. If hand is off steering wheel just throw hand up with fingers extended.

For this round of ordering, interior and body colors are all the same as the '11s. I don't think there is anything new at all.

Soon new exterior colors will be available. Hope that helps.

3.73s are standard on the Rubicon auto, 4.10s are a no charge option that must be checked off when ordering.

They sure like to make things confusing. AHQ is $320.00. AHT is $270.00. If you order both AHQ and AHT the total price is $345.
