2012 wrangler saharah

I have have 2012 Wrangler Saharah Unlimited and am not sure what size winter rims and tires I should get. I live in Quebec where it will be law next year to have winter tires on.

It should say on your door jamb what size tires and wheels you jeep came with. Easy peasy

Check out Craigslist for a set of someone's takeoffs. That's what I did. Paid $100 for four rims, tpms, and four very worn tires (which were quickly replaced). I bought Firestone Winterforce which are not the greatest.
You could look into duretracs for year round driving. They getting excellent reviews on this board.

Yup. Duratracs are a year round tire that also have the snowflake symbol, making them an approved winter tire. My 2013 Sahara has 18" rims, but I'm looking for 16 or 17" to put my winter tires on. It is cheaper to by 5 16" rims and 5 tires for those rims than just 5 tire for 18" rims.

I will likely be going for Duratracs as well, because I'd like to use the stock Dueller RHS for summer and longer trip driving, and switch early in the fall for hunting season with something more aggressive, but that would be a little too early for a dedicated studless soft compound winter tire that wears out too fast in warmer weather.

Welcome to the forum from a neighbor in N.B.

Bought bridgestones blizzaks last winter and they were great, drove through some pretty harsh snowstorms without a problem. Go NB haha

For road driving, Blizzaks are the best. If you want 1 tire to do it all, Duratracs are where it's at. I had no real issues in Quebec when I was there for christmas, but mine are very wide, which requires you to know what you are doing or else they float over the snow. For snow/ice on tarmac you want pizza cutters.

I got 4 Blizzak DM-V1 at Costco Blainville last week for 490$ before taxes in 235/75R16, mounted them on steel rims, so I can change them myself.

I will be putting 33" Duratracs on 17's next year when the Duellers wear out. I thought about 16's but do not want to run load range E's due to the extra weight.

I will be keeping the stock 18's for when I trade her in on a 75th Anniversary in a couple years
