2012 Wrangler Unlimited Control Arm Issue?

I picked up my new 2012 Wrangler Unlimited with the Altitude Package on Friday night. All seemed fine. Went out Saturday morning and heard a noise in the driver side rear which got louder as I got closer to home. When I parked in the driveway, went underneath and found a control arm on the rear wheel was hanging off – there was a bolt missing! So my new Jeep (with 144 miles on the odometer) had to go back to the dealer on a flatbed. Dealer said it may have been loose from the factory and backed itself out once it was driven. This is my first Jeep and I am really looking forward to it but I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come!

One other minor issue that my wife noticed was a light stain on the white underside of the front roof panels. Looks like something was splashed on it (I guess at the factory). Since it was going back to the dealer, I asked them to have the detailer give it a once over. Received a call that the detailer couldn’t get the stains to come off and that they need to contact Chrysler? This may seem like a minor nuisance but I did buy a brand new vehicle.

Anyone else have any issues similar to what I described above. As I said, I have always wanted a Jeep – my brother just got rid of his ’98 Wrangler that was 15 years with 325k miles on it – but so far, not a happy camper!

Bolts come loose. Get down there every once and a while and check to make sure they're tight.

I know bolts can come loose but on a brand new vehicle...guess the inspector at the factory may have been hung over the day it was made!
