Thx. I'm going off of the USAA car buying program.... It would be a $2500-$3000 for a Rubi. I'll get the military incentive as well.

That's basically what I did for my 10a, but she didn't bother saying USAA gives you x dollars off msrp so here's our offer; showed me invoice and promised me 100 off that plus 500 and I was able to negotiate a little more.

I'm also with USAA but couldn't build on their site yet and did not want to wait.... But you do get a discount on the interest rate if you use their service and finance with them... Good luck and please keep me posted on your results... It's never too late... But I'm pretty happy with my deal at this point.....

Not sure if a pic of the whole bumper has been posted yet, and not gonna go through all the posts to find out but here is one. If it's already been posted, I apologize. Get over it and don't jump down my throat.

I certainly have not seen that picture before, so thank you. Do you know who the source of the picture is? I wonder if it's for a magazine.

I also ordered a black 10A, and I need to stop reading this thread, because now I am second guessing my choice to go with matte black fenders and hardtop instead of the body color versions, heh.

It was on the Jeep Jamboree FB page. It was actually a media event for the launch of the 2014 Grand Cherokee but they had 2 identical white 10A JKU's there as well. There were more pics posted as well of the 10A's.

And sorry if I got defensive - last time I accidentally posted some pics that had been previously posted in this thread, I got JUMPED on like I'd murdered someone.

How much wider are the 10A tires again, doesn't look like much difference in photo of the white one compared to a standard Rubicon? Also, white letters out, does the standard rubi still have white lettering on its wheels.

Just curious, since this is a good photo posted of a 10A in it's natural habitat instead of being under the lights on stage?

I ordered a black 10a with non painted fenders and hard top also, I think it is going to look great! Don't let some one elses opinion make you dout your self! It will look great!

Second that. Black unlimited here, I like it best, hence why I chose it ;-)

These can be difficult decisions. I agree either version is gonna look great. The pictures posted earlier of the "Dragon" which has the top, fenders, and even mirrors (it looks like) color matched i thought was just incredible, hence my change. Guess i may be looking at having my mirrors painted!

It appears that the 10A unlimited's without a winch don't have the nose down rake of the standard rubicon. I wonder if that will change with the addition of a winch.

I do like the stance much better this way, and like the full bumper looks as good as the stubby on this unit.

Great find on those pics!

The third pic down shows red seats but they do appear darker red then a lot of artificial lighting promo shots we've seen.

Wow, white was my first choice when I was going to get a regular Rubicon or Moab edition but obviously with the 10A I had to go Anvil. These pictures make me regret that a little.

Has anyone thought that a $500 deposit was worth ordering 2 and going with the on you like best?

In the US, and in every state I ever audited before, Deposits had to be returned, so yes it's worth it.
They can request it, and it's usually requested by the MFG to validate seriousness, but it's almost always covered by a consumer protection clause.

I actually tried this, you will have to put them on different names maybe you and your wife. The dealer told me he can only have one sold order per name.

Wow, my dealer said absolutely no due to it being a limited edition and special order. Scare tactic like that should be illegal. Anyway I probably won't do it, my wife's Honda Odyssey is a huge white box and I would then also have a huge white box. It does look clean and makes those red seats pop. I really like the white and I'm not female

Oh I would suggest 2 completely different dealers if I were to try this.

Hmmm, I mean I can't blame them. I wouldn't want people coming in placing orders for something I wasn't aware of. Now why they aren't aware, who knows, but if they were I'm sure they'd see these are red hot.

Hmm, sounds like another scare tactic

What exactly are you saying, "poster child" not sure I get it.

I would be 100% at ease with my decision to leave one at a dealer, can't imagine they would have a hard time ridding themselves of it.

Cosmic Charlie,

It appears you have been vindicated

Thank you for the rest of those pictures. I am not on FB, therefore I would have never known about them unless somebody posted them here.

General comments:
1) I am glad I did not get an Unlimited. Personal preference, so don't fire up the indignation brigade. Drive your drive. That said, the JKUR10A is the toughest looking four door this side of something running a turret and appliqué armor!

2) I know the name implies it, but the full width bumper is freaking W I D E! I guess the length is no different than the standard plastic bumper; but between all the pictures of the 10A bumper in crawl mode and it styling, it looks longer than the standard bumper.

Aren't dealers limited in the quantity of Wranglers they can order each month? Or do "sold" orders not count against the quota?

I believe Sold Orders do not count towards their quota.

Thanks,

Nope, sorry, I came across too strong, darn keyboard, I was saying the same thing. Like they are hollier than though. I agree they wouldn't have a hard time if they knew a good thing.

So it seems to me that it would be to a dealer's advantage to have a customer reserve more than one 10A as stated previously and then keep the additional one for stock. I wouldn't think there would be any problem getting the deposit back then.
