The reddit link is the same photo on the jeep website except with the driver. The tree in the background is the same, missing the antenna, same lipstick fairlead. The positioning is a little off and they have a full shot of the tree in the background or I would think photoshopped dude in the drivers seat. Jeep corporate may have photoshopped the pic they posted to "pretty" it up a little.

I went anvil, dual top with the black top. I really like the color in the pictures and understand what you are saying that now since I saw the picture maybe should have went with the color matching top. When I saw jeeps with matching top, I never really liked it so that is why I went black. I figure half the year I am going to use the soft top any way and the black is going to be a nice contrast like some one mentioned. It's too late to make a change, I have a ship date of 4/1 so I am not doing anything to change that and don't want to add any additional cost any way. Good luck!

Good luck to you Mark. I hope everything looks the way you want it and that it arrives on or before your B-day.

The C&D photo is definitely Billet. I was in the design dome under those crazy lights and the lights really change how the colors look. The picture of Anvil from Moab is the truest representation I have seen online. Again I only saw Anvil in the design dome and not outside, but I would have to say that the Moab pic is so far the best for a real representation of Anvil.

The original or the modified photo the other member posted?

If its the modified one then we can be sure finally, once and for all that Anvil is a blue tinted dark gray, right?

Thanks for jumping in on that Pat. I really don't know what we would do without your insight and I really hope someone at Jeep feels just a little embarrassed by this Jeeps rollout and down the road they change their PR if for nothing more then to simply do right by their customers, obviously not because they need sales.

Agreed, I'm stoked to get mine and meet up with other owners with the different colors so we can all talk about this for hours!

For me the first one made me say "yep that's Anvil". The modified was a little darker than what I saw.

Found my merge software and this sure looks like the same bumper on both Jeeps with the winch removed at some point.

I got Anvil unlimited with body matched top/fenders. I didn't like body matched tops until I saw a cherry red JK with one at the dealership. It was amazingly beautiful! And it's only for winter, so non-jeepers will think I have two differen jeeps! Folks just don't understand how awesomely versatile wranglers are! They are truly missing out on the fun!

Thanks for the chime in Pat!

I like it and with Black seats, thats going to be hard to beat! Not to say that you red seaters won't be happy but in my mind....black fenders, black hard top, and black interior = the best!

And is this a personal vehicle or a easter special from Jeep?

That is the weird part, one from a month ago or whatever and one from today with the exact same bumper minus the winch.

I really love the color from the Moab pic. Looks like it was taken in Arches N.P. This color caught my eye the moment I saw it in the pics way back in November. I'm really happy it has some blue in it. To each his own, but I think the AEV wheels look good.

You might be able to get a tour, I went for a meeting for the new Cherokee.

It's in Auburn Hills in the Chrysler Technology Center.

It must have been. It looks like a photo of Double-O-Arch lying on the Jeep's dash.

It does say "Black Fuel Filler Door", for those that were wondering.

Which, Red Seats, with Radar Red Stitch was Standard. The window stickers say Standard unless replaced by optional equipment
Your Example, Radar Red Stitching would be replaced on an optional black seat Jeep with Black Stitch and the single rear tow hook that comes on Rubicon would be replaced by the dual rear red standard on a 10A.

Vots tends to jumble a lot

Awesome! I think though that I'll take them up on their service that allows you to send them a picture of your own and they will make it a poster. Sounds perfect!

Not sure if I should start a separate thread so just throw me out of here if I do.

Does anyone have any idea if the Warn Powerplant HP will fit in the stock bumper? I am also considering the Zeon-10s. Any assistance in helping to narrow this down would be appreciated.

Nobody knows yet. Other than Jeep employees, the only people who have gotten to see and work with this bumper in the flesh are High Country Performance 4x4.

High country only had a few hours with it to install a winch. The unit was being used by or belonged to the Jeep Jamboree folks. I E-mailed them about it since I was also curious about the powerplant. Their response was that the jamboree people chose a superwinch, the mount plate had to be modified for this winch to fit properly in the bumper, they didn't have/or take time to see which winches were a bolt in or would require mods. They did say the Warn 9.5 cti or cti-s was a drop in for the bumper. If you look at all of the press photos from the shows it's a 9.5 cti-s mounted on the show 10A's.
