Hey macsjk!
Congrats on receiving you 10A! Was the pinch seam trimmed by the factory?

Just go to Jeeps website and build a Wrangler, select the Tenth Anniversary options, and put in your zip code and the distance you want from that zip, options, etc,. and walla, it will show any 10A's that are in transit to dealers within your area or beyond. Pretty cool, caught me off guard..........

Plastic mount that I posted screws to the "Rubicon" logo on the front bumper. Here's the instructions.

Looks like it but the sliders cover that area and go past the seam. I'll take a picture in the am, time for bed.

Sorry dude,
You came off confrontational. I responded likewise.
Those comments you quoted are complete bullshit. Don't do those things. I seriously cannot tell if you are serious or just messing with me.
All I got is;
Don't buy gear just because it looks cool. Your statements made it sound like that was a good idea. I disagree. I riduculed no one as a neophyte, as you seem to imply.

Simply stated, a winch or hi-lift will f---ing kill you if you do it wrong.

Should I apologize for stating the obvious? Ah well, guess I'm the ass here.

Back to your regular scheduled broadcast.

I think the front is lower, if I measure the roof that holds true. Maybe the wheel gap is just bigger in the front. Someone with a regular rubi could verify.

Just noticed the one going to the dealer is an auto without the 4.10 gears. That's the only major option not selected. What gives. I am now noticing quite a few without the 4.10 gears. I was told early on that for max off road ability with the auto that the 4.10 option was a must. Can some experienced Jeepers elaborate on this please. Looks like i may be back to red seats, ha.

4.10s are great with up to 35s. In my opinion, if I was going larger, I would just regear. Maybe those folks are planning on running 37s and up and regearing. Or maybe... most """"10A"""" owners aren't planning on wheeling ever and are just buying the most expensive jeep made and will just keep the stock wheels/tires anyway...

This is prob pretty accurate, but not me....
I just love the color combo and options you get for a fraction.

But the wheels for me are the first to go. Not a fan of the rims at all....LOL

Could be. VOTS shows it in TRIM. Printout from Pat shows a 4/4 load up at the rail.

Uh OH.... I am suddenly wishing I ordered black seats instead of red...

Chrysler Ohio Jeep plant adding 200 workers | Reuters

Id much rather have my 10A built by a seasoned factory worker than a new hire fresh out of some trade school...

Hope my red seater gets built before the 1st....

No you have to hope the final inspector is a seasoned veteran. It doesn't matter who makes it (problem a machine anyways) it matters who oks it to be shipped.

No, your red seater will not be built by Monday, and neither will mine. BTW mine is scheduled for 4/28.

Hey Bob, make sure you have the 200+ box in, a good zip, and in the options i had to UNCLICK a dark gray color so that all colors would be represented......ya gotta play with it. If ya go with the 200+ you will see at least 10 or more of them (all black seats).

So going with 3.73's is not a bad thing with the automatic unlimited? I plan to mostly use mine for hunting and fishing and maybe an occasional off road area or something. Don't see going over 35's.

200+ from me yields nothing for 10A or 10AU

Cool deal may see if I can get the same deal. Other dealer ignored my $1200 offer.... Never understand that either, a simple "Thanks for your offer but the lowest I can go is $xxxx" will net you a sale, however ignoring my offer on eBay usually will have me purchasing from another vendor. Sorry for the rant just a little peeve of mine.
Thanks for the info jdwallsy

Hey Pat - any further or final word on a specific 10A winch package??? Would like to know before pulling the trigger on a standard edition.

BTW Pat can't understand how they could pull your orders like that - just ain't right. You likely sold more 10As for the company by your participation in this forum than probably all the other salesmen in the company combined.
