Well, thank you, little servlet of joy... D1 at midnight last night, F at 8 am today. Order placed 1/21, and it's being built today! Hopefully that means my JK starts its journey to CA tomorrow...

Just called the dealer and they confirmed that my Jeep is sitting on the lot in Ohio and they are in for some bad weather. Just my luck it will get ruined and they will have to build another one.

Or at least I believe this is what they mean.

The black portions of the VIN is fixed for all our 10A Jeeps and the red portions are the parts that will vary for each of us based on options and order assigned. MPV stands for Multi Passenger Vehicle.
Just went through over 200 pages of posts to find this.

Same boat here. I watched this storm all weekend thinking that it could impact my newly built vehicle. I hope there is no hail, that's all I can say.

Im sure if hail or anything nasty is forecasted, they can figure out a way to get your 10A inside. but, from what we've learned, most dealers are not the brightest (no offense Pat, you rock), so you might have to call and explain why its important to put yours under a roof.

that is.. if 'the lot' is the dealership. if its in the factory lot, thats a diff story. if thats the case, you could run to toledo and toss a wittle blankie over it!

he's talking about the "Big Lot" Chrysler's newly built vehicle lot in Toledo. Going to be lots of new vehicles sitting there waiting to be shipped......mine included.

This Jeep will see more dogs&beach than mountains --- any words of wisdom on sand crawling, seat protection from saltwater&dogslobber would be greatly appreciated

I've scoured the various forums and Google to no avail.

I know that was part of the original post. That manual is $134.99. Its a cd with an HTML based manual on it that apparently only works with IE. It can be converted to .pdf. I want to use it on a tablet like the one for my 2004.
I'm looking for some saintly individual that has already done the conversion and posted in on the interwebs for their fellow Jeepers.

hey i forgot which of you had your 10As go through the 'thorough inspection' process. How long did that end up taking? I thought someone mentioned it could add a few days to finally get to shipping.

I'm still in freaking D1.

I am getting fed up as I raced up to my dealer on the 15th right after work to put my order it. Guess some incompetence at the dealer resulted in the 17th order date and now here I sit with nearly every other January order built, in transit, or in driveways. I am jeep said all she has is it is supposed to be on a train tomorrow and all my parts are in!

I going to be the grinch until I get some freaking news but I'd really like to know what is the hold up.
Well not necessarily! Just to give you some hope, mine went from D1 straight to KZ with literally no updates inbetween. D1 last friday, KZ yesterday morning and KZL this morning.

I'm talking about FREE as in freedom from paying for a manual that is poorly written and doesn't even include the wiring diagram, but is necessary for doing proper repairs and modifications if you care about stuff like torque specifications.

Woke up this morning, checked VOTS, and discovered I was in E status.

Nice to see a little movement

Maybe they will hit that estimated ship date of 04/10 after all.

Ordered 01/24, black / black, 2d, 6 speed

This site may prohibit links to such things, most large forums do

That said this was posted a while ago in another thread

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/fre...nk-153251.html

I was only able to find the 07 to 11 manuals (some things are the same still) but maybe someone much more savy than me can find the 12 and 13 manuals??

Let me know if you have any luck
