Evening all!
After driving 1200 miles through California in a Wrangler Sport, I was in love. The 10A will be my first... Thanks for all the input here in this thread, which helped me while deciding. Can't deny the excitement or the love!

I've read on forums that they do. I'm coming from a soft top so the hard top will be new to me anyway. I've read that the Boom Mat is thicker than Hotheads and offers more sound insulation. I'll post my own findings in October when my 10a comes in.

FYI - Thanks for the info, I priced mine on USAA and the MSRP came out about the same $45,160. with USAA's Target as $42,068. I originally negotiated 1.6% under the invoice of $41,731 which got the price down to $41,063. and after the $500. Military Discount came down to $40,563. So I faired better directly with the dealer back in Feb. "she" will be here next week!

I wish....

I wish I would have ordered my 10A two weeks ago rather than on 1/15. If I would have waited until late March I would already have it apparently.

I got an arrival estimate that is still more than two weeks away.

I know. But there does seem to be a sweet spot around early March. My theory is that there is big wheel they spin with VONs on it. Some busty girl in a red sequin dress with glowing white teeth and a permanent smile spins it every morning. That's how they determine what to build that day.

Dealership just called and said I have your jeep! OK I just ordered on the 1st of April and you have my jeep??? Yes it's a 10A but it's not the Jeep I ordered. From the picture he sent its a JKU, white with white hard top and white fenders. I told him I'd come look tonight just to check it out as it is a 10A but that I was still going to wait for what I actually ordered.

So if anyone is in Fresno and wants an all white 10A JKU its all yours!

It is offensive really. It is not Unityroad's doings obviously. It is apparently indicative of problems at Chrysler though.

Congrats and good for you Unity!

I am on posting fire today... probably my excitement as my 10a is in shipping on vots.

As with a few people my jeep was d-1 last week, frame yesterday and shipping today. Unfortunately I will have to wait until the 29th to pick it up. I ordered it in VA and live in southwest PA and can not get to VA until then. I will be diving it up the mountain on the 30th.

Black, 2 door, red seats

Unity, please post some detailed pics of the interior for us! Especially the red stitched areas of the interior, there really has been a lack of red interior pics.

Thanks!

I am with you. Ordering on 15 Janurary was one of the stupidest thing I have done this year.

Jeep, you had better have the build quality on my 10A air-f#%*^#g-tight.

seriously Jeeps ordered in March are already at dealers. Freaking Chrysler!!!! I am going to enjoy my 10A but I would really have to have something special happen to ever order another Chrysler product again. I will love my Jeep but I will be bad-mouthing Chrysler and their ineptitude on rolling out something special with a pre-sell process. If this is any kind of competent business people should be losing their jobs for how this thing was handled because I can say for one I would never do this again, especially rush out to jump on something promised to be special and limited only to find that presell orders were not prioritized, that anvil and red tow hooks will be on every goddam Jeep from now until 2020 and we will likely see every freaking option on the 2014 Rubicon and it will be more valuable then ours being a year newer. I'm done Chrysler! Fool me once shame on you, fool my twice shame on me!

Been lurking for 11 months. The forum has been an incredible source for knowledge, entertainment and laughter. Thank You.

Here’s the story-
Bought a 2012 COD for my wife for Mother’s Day (May 2012). She always wanted a convertible. Finally a convertible that is worthwhile.

She didn’t want to let me take it hunting or wheelin. So I started looking at a JKUR for myself. Loved Sahara Tan so I waited for Dune. Ordered it the week it was released. It drop shipped at the end of Feb straight to AEV for mod’s, just got finished last week.

I started reading the 10A forum since the Dune forum didn’t have much going on. After a couple of weeks of reading in January, I couldn’t resist buying a 10A, Anvil, Red, Dual Tops, 730N, Max Tow, Remote Start. As of this morning in Final Inspection according to VOTS for what that’s worth (Ordered 1-29-2013). It’s a surprise for my wife and she has no idea it is coming.

So in less than a year went from being Jeepless to having three.

Time for some fun adventures………

I will be logging a formal complaint and I will likely write a letter to Chrysler brass.. I don't even give a damn if they read it but I never bought anything Chrysler and I won't ever again. By the time I need a new vehicle they will vastly different then they are now and I don't see the next one being a Jeep. This was a horrible experience and I was in NO WAY treated even the slightest bit special for forking over 41K to this miserable company for a product that had no model or for that matter communication about how it would look or optioned. The fact that they did not build every single January order and send them out with a special thank you is the reason I am absolutely livid. The excitement that the early adopters shouted from the rooftops here is the reason for this Jeeps success and we got SHIT on. Everyone on the planet has internet access and researches everything on the internet even if they have no intention of ever joining a forum. A vast majority if not all sales of 10A were because of the forum here that comes up pretty much first when you type in Jeep Rubicon in google. Go ahead try it... "jeep rubicon" the first hit is this thread. Jeep you better be listening. You alienated me and I promise this is it. I am going to love this Jeep and when it's done it's done. You blew it. You had the chance to do the right thing or at least the noble thing but you blew it.

Congrats and good for you Unity!

I agree. It's insulting to hold a pre-order and then ship out late orders earlier. I would expect some of this especially if they were following some discernible pattern based on geography or configuration, but it seems random. I'm wondering if it really an issue of dealer allocation. The dealers were allocated slots. Our special orders are just sold orders of what would have been allocated to the dealers anyway, so were following that order. That's just a wag though. I like my busty lady with the wheel theory. Nice imagery.

I rest my case.... every order of this damn Jeep was the few folks that ordered and jumped on here early to shout about how excited we were and what a tremendous thing this was going to be. Every damn person in this country "google's" things, trust me I'm in healthcare. Jeep you jammed up your sales force because your "true sales force" are generally more inept then you. I walked all three dealers I dealt with through the process. Seriously, I the Physical Therapist who's never owned a Chrysler product in my life showed 3 of your dealers how this thing worked and what the 10th Anniversary Rubicon even was! Chew on that a little.

Anxious to see what you get in response. A form letter response I am sure.

I remember reading that folks were calling them out in social media, did that get a worthy response?

Step away from the ledge and walk a way from the computer. Sounds like you are having a rough day. This will all be a distant memory when you are WHEELIN with your lid off hopefully very soon.

Hope things get better for you. Wishing you the best.

Haha, nope not a bad day, I actually went to frame today and finally have some movement so I am actually happy but I truly have had enough of how truly horrendous this event unrolled. I should have been delivered the first week they went out of the factory, period! I cannot wait to take my boys out for a little off road with the top off. I am going to love the Jeep, I just know it but I will never support Chrysler again. Funny that there was even talk of offering pre-sell members leather jackets and we were like "" but no I'd give anything to be treated even a little special .... like how about freaking sent my Jeep within the first couple thousand you rat bast$%^s
