Yup, mine has black switches as well. Correct dash plaque and shift knobs too. Photo shoot tomorrow.

If you are asking with regards to my individual order, then of course not. I also think that's a silly question you posed.

On the other hand if you are asking with regards to the aggregate of the folks who stepped up early, to include my own? Then my answer to you is yes.

got my 10A

my wait is over. I hope I never have to do this again. I order on 1/18/13 . I left a deposit and had worked out my trade in of a 2009 f250 at that time. I was told they would give me $28300 for my truck. After waiting 2.5 months I was afraid of what they would say about it the added mileage. When I got to the dealer they did not even look at the mileage. Not that I added much. I work 1 mile from my home. I signed papers again but with todays date went to financing which took for ever and proudly drove my 10a anvil 2 door home. I will post picks tomorrow since it was dark when I got home. I am wishing you guys and gals patience in your wait.I know it is frustrating , but its so nice when the waiting is over. Happy wheeling people

Well, she's clearly had a positive influence on you...more relaxed, funnier, and you seem to be getting out more too! LOL

Yeah 1/21. Dash plaque was good too. Don't you think I checked all that stuff before leaving? For those wondering, I got 1.74% for 60 or 72 months through chase. Dealer found it, you can't do much better than that. I gave them a $250 deposit check in january and they never cashed it and gave it back to me when we settled up tonight.

I bought from century in mt airy, md. So far they have been pretty good. I'd buy again, no games and they kept me pretty much informed.

Planning big trip to CO in August. Probably hit a few off road parks this summer with some buddies. I'm actually afraid to get it dirty right now since I waited so long.

Seriously, thank you for the words of encouragement. I know a few of us here, and I am looking directly in the mirror, could use it. Take care and enjoy that ride, brother!

Thanks, that made me laugh out loud!!

The relaxed presence is a bit fake ... It is to help her to stay calm, the 4.10 diffs make a bit quick off the line if the other vehicle crosses it first. She still not a fan of H3s and H2s get her really going! I think she can smell their fear and lack of trail rating. Strange she mostly ignores or tolerates FJs but has only been around a red and a tan, limited edition FJs.

Nothing negative at this point, except no declared or organized 10A rally, maybe try in a month or so ... Ocean City, NJ's jeep parade or hopefully somewhere closer.

Can't say I blame you for that last sentence! When I get mine, my wife and I want to go to Utah.

There is going to be a car show that includes an offroad category this year and I hope to have mine to take to that event. I haven't been to that area but have heard there are some trails very near there also to try it out on if I haven't already had it on some before that.

Hope you all post any unique behaviors demonstrated by your 10A. I'm a little concerned about the aggressive nature and genuine awesomeness (who knew this was a word my spell check recognizes) of my 10A. She can be erratic with jumping off the line at stop lights, driving up and over curbs, taking forever to get me home by taking the long routes for no reason!

So anything to compare mine with will help me to determine if i should mod her myself or seek other professional help to upgrade her.

I can't wait to hear how all of yours adjust to their new homes!

Doctorsi, second that on the shots offer, but if we bump into you at same time, then we can spread the trays out at least a couple hours..not tryin' to kill you, but definitely feel your pain bro, you've got more legitimate beef than most

And more good stuff from you too, Chitty.. As a former minor league baseball pitcher (washed up and light yrs ago of course), but poo flinging monkeys never gets old!

I am sure that it was the same for the 2012 models. I keep popping in this thread to see the new """"10A""""s to roll out, but mostly what I catch is those threatening Chrysler, begging Chrysler for an extra $500 or spouting off that something should be different for you because the jeep has a "10A" badge on the side and red seats. Chill... they will come, you will be happy, and hopefully the next gen of jeep will make you want one just as much...
Dude, no offense, I realize its just another perspective... But, from perspective of folks like Doctorsi, I gotta think, IMAO, keep your "lowerrumble" to yourself, you're stink in' up the thread!..

Lol Doc - just a few more days and it will arrive

Ordered 1/18 and finally got a ship date ( thanks Pat ) of 4/11 - still sitting in D1 at this pint so hoping I see movement tomorrow - dealer finally got back to me and said it should show up first / second week in May - putting this at almost 5 months if it doesn't arrive until mid May - sigh

Honestly this whole process has been a train wreck but this forum has been like therapy lol

It’s a long frustrating wait for a 10A , my estimated delivery date is 4/29, ordered on 1/15, 15 weeks!!!, but the fact that everyone that has received their 10A has said it was worth the wait, helps me stay positive. Congrats to all that have received their 10A , the rest of us just have to hang in there hopefully it will be worth it to us as well! In a few weeks we’ll all be worried about what mods come first.

Oh I'm sure mine will be full of herself too. Keep me posted on any rally here in the area. Who knows on OC.

Anyone know how hard it would be to replace the switches? I ordered black seats and want black interior... I wonder if you could just order black switches and just pop them out and swap?

It's my experience changing the switches isn't a big deal... getting underneath the dash is the hard part.

I'll need to see mine before making a decision.

Golden Ticket?

I know there has been a lot of talk on the forum about the “Golden Ticket” and who got them. Some people felt Chrysler only sent them to low income places or places that Jeeps do not sell.

Well, I would tell you both facts above I think are incorrect. My wife got one in WI and I got one in AZ.

Two weeks ago after requesting multiple brochures (different family names and addresses) I received a brochure in the mail (WI) with my wife name for $500 off. It will be used towards her 10A later this month.

I know there has been a lot of complaining about Lord Chrysler so I wanted to share some good news.

Saturday I received a postcard in the mail for $500 off in my name to my house in AZ. Already had $500 for the 10A and paid for my Dune back at the end of February. But after reading this forum I remember someone posting that Chrysler would honor the $500 off for a certain period of time. I contacted IAMJEEP the first lady I spoke with got all my manuals ordered. She transferred me to the Incentives Dept. great gal told me what info to fax or e-mail in which I did on Monday late afternoon. Tuesday a.m. I received an e-mail stating that they needed verification (electric, water bill…) that had my name and address in AZ on it since the Dune jeep was registered in WI. Got another e-mail this morning that said I should be seeing a check for $500 in the next 3-4 weeks.

You want to talk about customer service and going out of their way to honor a promotion.

I will give Chrysler / Jeep a 10+ on $500 promotion transaction. In regard to communicating on the ordering / production & shipping of the 10A not so good.

If there is a 1.25" difference between a regular Rubi and 10A, then 35" KM2s (assuming wheels w/ correct offset) should fit with the same wheel travel. Regular Rubis have a 32.1" tires, so a 1.25 increase in radius results in a 2.5 increase in diameter, 32.1 + 2.5 = 34.6, 35" KM2 is 34.8" in diameter. No lift needed???

Before I write them all all together, I will need to see how "red" they are in person... Why would Jeep give black stitches with red switches and vice versa?

Where there is some complaining specific to the 10a it is with regards to the push by Jeep and its dealerships to get people to per-order in order to ensure they would get one of these limited vehicles. This seems to have been pointless, as people have been able to order very late in the game and in some cases get their vehicle sooner. The main thing though is the lack of good information. I've ordered a lot of vehicles including Jeeps. I've never ordered one where I had know idea within some ballpark as to when they were going to ship it. This may not be unique to 10a buyers, but that is t people on this thread happend to have bought.
Ordered my 2012 sept 22, 2011. Arrived at dealership oct 21, 2011.
