Here is the amp. Perfect for this application because it is very small, doesn't require a keyed power wire it auto senses signal and turns on, and it accepts signal from the speaker wire so no RCA adapter needed. Pretty sweet huh?

Amazon.com: Buying Choices: Jbl GTO-501EZ Mono Car Amplifier

This is the sub. It pretty much speaks for itself I think. Moabite says he loves it and he seems like the type to trust.

Amazon.com: Polk Audio AA3084-A MM840 8-Inch Subwoofer: Car Electronics

Yes, adding the amp and keeping the stock headunit. 130n

Yep see above. I haven't looked for a spot for the amp yet. I hope to find a spot under/behind the dash or as a last resort under the passenger seat. Building a custom bracket either way.

Moabite did a nice write-up on his install with custom spacer here:

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/my-...-202906-2.html

He has since mentioned he would have gone with the single voice coil and less amp, at least for his own preferences. I'd rather have too much and adjust down, than not enough, so I followed his route, but also snagged JBL's wired remote for the amp to be stealthed somewhere up front, anticipating I can fine tune the output as needed.

Yep, and the link I gave is of the single voice coil sub. The dual is also available from amazon for just a few dollars more. But knowing the differences between them, I and I suspect most of us, won't have any use for the the extra wiring options of a DVC sub. That amp is pretty perfect for this application. I mean, it's only $100 bucks and will push just about any 8" sub that will fit in the factory enclosure.

I'll be sure to post up where and how I mount the amp.

FYI on my link to the amp, Scroll down to the bottom for the ones that are selling for $120 something. Don't pay $199

Front Bumper Ends

I've been on here since I ordered my Black, manual, 4dr, red seat, 10a 1/17/13. Dealer didn't put my order in until 1/29 dont ask me why... I'm in "Transit" supposedly be here in about a week. Its so great to see everyone getting their jeeps and posting pics!!

I was surprised that there are no pics with the bumper end off? I told the dealer to take mine off during prep. Am I alone with this?

Love to see some pics with them off....

Mine will come off, just haven't gotten to it yet. I think it was Mac that took his off and posted some pics, weighed them out at 11lbs each.

I made it to the dealership about 9:45 . I'll have to do pics later as the pollen is so bad here today it looks like I have the one and only "YELLOW" 10A made. They washed it at the dealer and by the time I drove the 30 miles back to work it's yellow, the stuffs blowing around like a dust storm from the 30's.

I didn't let the dealer PDI the interior, just the mechanical and a wash. So I have to take the plastic and protective film off of everything. It's a good dealer to purchase from but their clean-up/PDI is severly lacking. That's why I told them I would do it. They didn't even check the tire pressure, it's got 52 psi in all four and rides rough. I'll cure that this afternoon or in the morning. Got to make up for being gone from work all morning even if I am the boss .

The Jeep looks great. All undercarriage parts that are painted have a nice coat that looks good. No issues like seen in the undercarriage rust thread.

Shift knobs have the chrome tops with leather on the main shifter knob.

Switches are "BLACK" with my red seats. The seats are just what I expected. A much darker red than in the photos, the exact same as Radar Red in the Charger/Challenger line. I really love the color.

I am the second lucky one to recieve THE WRONG SPEC PLATE on the dash. Told the dealer before I left. They took pictures of the plate and the ID tag in the door jamb, and will be ordering the correct one. I've decided to leave the mistake plate and just put the correct one away when it comes in. It's the same as the other one we've seen and states 255/75-17 BFGoodrich KM tires. Could be this will find it's way to the standard Rubi for 2014 considering two showing up already.

The jeep was very quiet coming back with the hard top on and I found the 430N to be very pleasant. It's no audiophile system but for the avearge driver it will be nice.

The bumpers and front air dam/ skid are completely different from all other wranglers. So for anyone looking to recreational tow like myself, there will be no base plate available that will fit. I will build my own or wait for Blue Ox to get ahold of one, since I'm not driving from Atlanta, Georgia to Pender, Nebraska just for a base plate fitment.

I'm used to 5.7 Hemi's and an H.O. Cummins/Ram (2012) with 800ft. lb. of torque. So the jeep is peppy and smooth, but there is no way I would find it "powerful" compared with my other vehicles. It is what it is, a V-6 that is smooth and tractable.

Fit and finish is excellent. I'll have more to report in a day or so when I pull the hardtop to remove the soft top. I don't want to run the soft top in this sea of pollen were having, so it will go on later in the spring or summer.

Like I said, should have pics by no later than Friday. It's raining here now and supposed to storm through tommorow.

Still exporing it right now, those are the quick observations. Mainly it's here after a 3 month wait! : dance:
ENJOY Its a long time coming so take a joy ride for us poor smucks still waiting for our rides and post LOTS OF PICS of that glamorous BILLET ? RED SEATER!!!!

To all the new 10A folks, don't forget to take the poll "Which R10A did you order?" and update your info on the spreadsheet!!

I have news for you. Chrysler will be shipping a new ID Rubicon dash plate to your dealer. You will have to take your Jeep to the dealer. The dealer will remove the old plate and install the corrected plate. The wrong plate will be shipped back to Chrysler. I'm hoping they won't damage the dash--it's plastic you know--in the process.

Well VOTS says I'm in paint but I called I AM JEEP and the nice lady told me good news "you are I status, your Jeep is built and has been selected for a 100% inspection process".

What is this process?
Is it a real thing or do they just says this to make us think they are going over the Jeep with a fine tooth comb?
Do they say it to give themselves some leeway in order to not have to give a real explanation why the production process has been so jacked up?

I feel like these incidents all but confirm they are using this on the 2014 Rubicons. Why else would they have multiple plates that have regular Rubicon tire specs on it?

I left Jeep a couple of messages on Facebook asking about these issues, specifically asking them to address them. I remember reading here that social media may provide the opportunity to be heard as IAMJEEP is worthless as a conduit for feedback. I haven't received even the typical canned answer. They selectively respond to questions on the Facebook page, ignoring the heavy stuff.

Just placed an order for a 10a unlimited, white with black hard top and black interior. Anybody think about trying to see if anyone can get group pricing on some nice new warns for the front of these?

Just spotted a black 10A Unlimited driving in Westwood (Los Angeles), CA!

It's nighttime and I was yelling so loud and he switched lanes at the last second to turn and I lost him. Probably a good thing considering I would have probably followed it home like a crazy person.

Didn't spot the interior color but I have a black unlimited 10A on order as well and wow, my excitement level just raised times 1,000.

Whoever you are in your 10A, congrats!

What current 2013 model comes with a black shifter and which ones come with chrome? ...
