I guess you need to check everything! Still shaking my head at the two different shift knobs. Thanks to this thread, I have quite the punch list going for when mine finally arrives in 2 weeks.

The red stitching is def sweet. I just couldn't d the red seats. I wonder how much it would cost to switch out the armrest, door panels and steering wheel for ones with the red stitches. Just a thought. I'm def going to look into other interior accents (vent rings, etc) to replace that silver stuff.

Sports come with dark trim accents on the two shifters and on the grab handle and around the HVAC vents. Sahara's and Rubicon's come with silver tone accents in those locations.

I live on the Wilshire Corridor directly next to Westwood and I was driving home from Brentwood when spotted on Wilshire turning north onto Westwood. Spotted the red shocks from the rear, had that feeling, then saw the rear bumper, sped up to confirm the hood while sneaking a peak at the driver/interior all trying not to crash into the car in front of me. Glorious. Looked like an older couple, probably Auto transmission, and fully stock. Didn't get a good enough look at the dealer plate inserts to see where it was from.

I ordered from Tuttle Click. I think they're near Lake Forrest. I really don't remember. Placed the order over the phone through a referral from a friend.

Looks like today is the day that she gets dirty and wet. We'll see how that hood works to drain.

Thought about riding my bicycle to work, since I dry quicker and don't get water spots.

Is it a real thing or do they just says this to make us think they are going over the Jeep with a fine tooth comb?
Do they say it to give themselves some leeway in order to not have to give a real explanation why the production process has been so jacked up?
I was told the same thing last Saturday. In fact, I was told that my jeep was built and had already passed the additional inspection last Saturday. It was supposed to ship last Monday. I still don't have my jeep. I think that this 'I' status is where Jeep just sits on your Wrangler, and lets you simmer in your own annoyance and frustration at the opaqueness of this entire process until you are a finely seasoned rage soufflé.

I think they work just fine and are better than stock. If I really pay attention, there is just a hint of flicker when at a traffic light. But at this point, I really have to be looking for it to see it. I am happy with them but I would give the JW Speakers a good look if I hadn't already invested in the Trucklites.

D1 this morning. Does this mean that if I call IAMJEEP I should be able to get estimated dates for production and delivery?

I hear ya. agreed.

a few things about Chrysler have become evident given the process we all have been through. Chrysler doesnt care about those of us that love their product. They know we'll always come back. there's no direct competition in the wrangler market. What they care about is selling more wranglers to first time wrangler buyers - which makes a lot of sense from a business standpoint. Its hard to believe the dealers can be so neglectful too. But i dont think they really care either. They sell a ton of these things, and the concept of a 'valued customer' is sooooo 1986. I spoke to my dealer the other day and mentioned to him that he made a mistake and ordered the wrong option for my 10A. His immediate response was 'well if you dont want it, i have 6 customers that will buy it right now'. My 10A will be my 5th Wrangler from this dealer. They dont care. It all almost makes me feel silly for each moment in this thread that i vented frustration about feeling unappreciated. Someone at Chrysler might read this thread once in a while, and some of the dealers do, but nothing will change as a result. i'll buy my 10A in a week or two and put that dealer in my rearview forever

for the price of jw speakers you can get the trucklites and a set of dually d2 driving lights. maybe even a third D2 as a reverse light.... ill be fine with my trucklites and the crazy output of the d2s ,, putting up with a bit of flicker is acceptable.

OK... Then clearly this isn't a 2014 thing that has been mentioned several times. These are going down the line mixed with different models and that's where the screw ups are happening.

I'm surprised this is passing final inspection like this.

Perfect! .... 21.5".

I'll measure a standard Rubicon and Sport model with and without the Trail Rated suspension and we'll get some good baselines from each model. This should give us the information needed to determine actual lift without the impact of various tires sizes.

Thanks.
