I am in Shipment as of this morning, and getting a little anxious. When I go to pick it up, I am afraid of missing some of the things people have mentioned on this thread that they found wrong. I need to make a list to bring with me to keep my mind straight.
1. Dash plate
2. Shift knobs
3. Rust underneath
4. Should I measure the fender hieght to ensure the correct springs were put on?
5. Is the instrument cluster on this jeep different than the standard?
We should probably add this list to a tab on the spreadsheet. I think someone had a crushed edge/lip on the bottom of the passenger side of their hard top.
How are the 'RED SEATERS' reporting the quality of their leather so far? Our other jeep has the saddle leather which is pretty rough and durable. I'm curious as to the RED quality due to the couple posts buried in this thread showing the premature wear on a early 10 A.
Comments on your leather so far? Is it as rough and thick as the saddle? Or does it seem pretty soft? Also, does it have the vinyl outers?
Congrats on all the deliveries! Not a combo here I don't like
Have the black leather and it is soft yet rugged. Just got done wiping all the seats down with mink oil. They now look like they should be in a high end luxury car. Pics to follow.
Baddog, i have a Canon Mark V and a canon 70-200 F2.8 lens i use and your pic of that hood over the bay with the lighting is freakin awesome and I would be hard pressed to match that shot
Thanks amigo. I'm a Nikon guy myself, with lots of hardware and great glass, but when the iPhone5 is what's in hand, it proves to be very capable! Especially with a good editing app (Snapseed in this case). Happy shooting!
The fun has only just begun!

I cannot get that one to work in Mozilla. Still worth trying though. Thanks MeSteve.
Bob, That is a little effed up. A bunch of weird spaces and the VON is in the wrong place. Below, remove the space after https: and replace <LASTNAME> with your last name in caps. Then replace <VON> with the DL serial number. Then paste it into your browsers address line.
First, thank you all for the great info and dialog. Proud to be a 10A owner.
I just got off the phone with my dealer after being in paint for 7 days. It didn't pass QA because of a bad paint mixture, so they gave me another build with a different VIN. Went from a 651XXX to a 668XXX VIN. Thought some of you that might not have seen any movement might be tracking the wrong VIN if you got a new one as well.
Update on mine after calling IAMJEEP for the first time. Couldn't give me the Build date; however, I now have estimated Ship date and Estimated Delivery Date (maybe this is the Off Rail Date?) I live in Arizona.
4/9 Went D Status
4/12 Went D1 Status
4/27 Estimated Rail Load Date <- New Information
5/7 Estimated Delivery Date <- New Information
WTF? Just called IAMJEEP. They told me I'm in D1 so there is no ship date, build date, etc. With the later orders moving along I'm starting to feel like those Jan and Feb folks. I'm convinced that the primary factor in all of this is your location and the dealer you ordered from, e.g. their size, how many Jeeps they move etc. Its probably the inverse of the golden ticket logic, but in the same vain.
