Varies, the jeepers that just ordered I would guess 6-8 weeks

fwiw - that threw me for a loop too first time I picked up a hard top for the '98 sahara TJ .. picked up a cheap used "khaki" (really light grey) and couldn't stop being distracted by the white interior .. did a replacement bestop sailcloth top in the native "spice" (more khaki brown) and so it sits today

All train transporting autos have been transported by covered rail cars for many years.

Sales lady called to tell me my jeep was in ( as if the servlet and VOTS hadn't already let me know) and sent me pics. They will turn the white walls in for me.

The Anvil with painted top and flares makes it look like a battleship. USS RUBICON.

hahaha, no offense at all to those with auto trans, but i couldnt imagine driving a wrangler with anything but a manual. Nothing like the feeling of having total control of that transmission.

I have a 2011 manual with the old engine - cant wait to feel the manual on the 10A with the 4.1 gear ratio and the new engine!!

Is the wife a Buckeye? Living in Columbus, you knew this combo would lead to that assignment!

You could if you shifting 13 speed transmission for 25 years and 3 million miles. The last thing I feel like doing is shifting

Yes she is, but pretty much 90% of the city is! I'm sure folks will be asking me to drive my Buckeye Jeep in local parades!

Every Jeep I had except for the KJ has been a stick. my 2012 is the reason I started looking for a new jeep to begin with. Stick with the new pentastar was absolutley horrible. ZERO pedal feedback, no tactile feel at all. All four local dealership service managers say that it is like that with all Pentastr manuals.

It was fine on the street, but wheeling it absultely brought the suck.

O.K. I'm biased because I build 'em, but these Jeeps are clearly nuclear aircraft carriers with the flat tops and all, although we cant call them CVN 78 though because that's a Ford.
How about CVN 69 Eisenhower, since he was an army general, and one of the first Jeepers.

I just took the hard top off and put on the soft top my 4 door. It's a much nicer fabric than was on the 12, but crap - was it hard to stretch into place. Had to have my son hang on the back bar to get the rear corners to snap into place - even with the front latches not fully closed. I know it will stretch out a little after a while, but any tips on making this easier? My wife is discouraged that there is no way she could do this alone.
