when we are all asking for red stitches, winches, and whatever, on our 10As, should have been rallying for a clinometer! that is BAAAAAYD ASSSSSS. super cool.

Yeah Toyota was putting clinometers on toasters in the 80's. Come on Jeep, do I really have to order that dinky one from Quadratec? I actually have a Smittybilt clinometer app for my iphone. how lame.

Chicks seemed to dig it too, but I think when your 16, just knowing someone with a car, ANY CAR, is the main qualification. Mine was a hand me down from my sister, who got if from my aunt who used it for "Farm Use". Later my dad drove it around in the late 90's. By that time it had no heat, so he drove around in a skull cap and ratty looking jacket, hunched over the steering wheel trying to stay warm from the instrument cluster lights, looking like a scary-ass bum. Some dude hit him, and they had to give him $3000 for damages to the car. By this time it was literally falling apart and really wasn't worth squat. Suckers. Thankfully he wised up and bought a new car. A Jeep.

Yeah. When people start bailing, I find that's its a good time to reevaluate the current attitude of the vehicle

As what has happened to others my Jeep showed up on my dealers website today. Best part, they have it listed for cheaper than what I am paying for it!! Called my salesman this morning. He said the manager won't be back until Saturday and he will call me back. At this point nothing surprises me with Jeep!! Est delivery is 4/30.

definitely going to want to see some reviews. I had a cheap stick on level-o-gauge, but I agree with you its largely superfluous. The pucker factor usually kicks in waay before the bubble reaches 45

3D Rubi

That is kinda what I was thinking when I found it.

Not going to buy the 3D model for $600 to play with it, but tempted...
I have the real one on the way... soon I hope

Mike

So I think this has largely been confirmed already, regardless Warn confirmed that they are working on a 10a Winch for Jeep, they just haven't said when it'll be done. Here's my PM and response to Warn via this forum:

Hi Warn!
I'm a part of the 10th Anniversary Rubicon thread that you can pretty much see on the front page of the forum everyday, it's a very active thread. There is A LOT of interest in the special 10th Anniversary Warn Winch that is shown in a lot of the press photos for the 10a:
http://www.allpar.com/SUVs/jeep/rubicon-2013.html

No one knows for sure if this winch is going to be produced for retail purchases, there's a lot of rumors in both the affirmative and negative. Can you possibly provide this info to me or directly to the 10th Anniv thread? If there is no special 10a winch planned, would Warn be interested in doing special pricing for a group sale on the 9.5cti? This idea was floated in the thread and got a lot of positive responses that people would buy. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Darren
---End Quote---
Darren,

I apologize for the late response on this. I had opened this message up but had forgotten to mark it as unread.

This winch is being built specifically for Jeep. I am unaware of the timing of the product's release, however.

With regards to a group buy, we are don't to sell direct to consumers, so unfortunately, I'm unable to offer you any group buy offers.

Sincerely,

- Andy

I know of a loaded 10A Unlimited (billet w/black seats) that is available immediately.

I believe it has everything except the painted top.

If you are interested, send me an email at swadehead@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

Ouch! I have some technical art people where I work who could make a model of the Jeep. Of course you still can only add the model to the PC version of GTA unless they change something for this version.

i like the look of the warn winch and if theres gonna be a specific one for the 10a i might be interested, depending on what there gonna mark it up to for being for a specific model. honestly i figure if ur gONNA spend the money why not dish out a little more and get the warn power plant? seems like it would br the best of both worlds. save you form having an on board air compressor put on later or carrying around a portable one. i know it stand tall but was hoping that (if it fits) the bumper would allow it to sit down enought to still see the top half of the grill.

I put it on the sheet. I think its $59 for a JKU. It covers the opening when the Freedom Top panels are removed. They and others make full mesh bikinis too.
