What's would be considered a very good deal on the Lifetime Max coverage with $100 deductible??? Talking with dealer and want to get the cost down the best i can. Is 2K doable, reasonable???

2. The bolt that fastens to the bottom of the carrier is a bit of a pain screw down since you can't get a ratchet and need to use a box end wench.

Other than that it looks great and works well. I still plan to install a third brake light and some back back up lights I also need to get a set of wheel locks or gorilla locks for now I used a cable bike lock.

Looks good! I have AEV Carrier waiting also, no Jeep.. On lot since April 12th. Question, how did you like the quality of the stock 10As bumper? I put a AEV bumper on my Wife's Safari Unlimited, nice bumper. Also what third break ligh are you using? Like your AEV RIMS! What size tires did you put on?
Thanks

Funny thing is when I gave the lady my name, she asked if I was the guy on the wrangler forum who thinks he's so cute with all the goofy picture posts. I said no, I'm "Low Crumble". She said "good, because if we find out who that Wolf Driver Guy is, he's getting the de-chrome package, the cracked hardtop package, and the super extra undercarriage rust package!" Oh snap!

O.k. I am serious about the ship date. The other stuff is just more of my silliness. Chrysler is not going to retaliate for anyone's posts on a forum. They've got better things to do like build rockin' ass 10a's. Low Fumble might though.
lol ...

Well, because when I called they said they were watching this thread... something to the effect they had our numbers and the ones who were bashing Chrysler wouldn't be receiving a $500 coupon and they were placing those orders at the bottom of the list.

I've kinda lost touch... have you taken delivery of your 10A?

They also said they put Low Fumble on Chrysler's ignore list...

Does the seat headrest adjust forward or backwards any at all? I know they go up and down but they sure look like they lean forward big time and could be uncomfortable if not adjustable. Thx

looking forward to seeing yours.
Looks nice! Please post some full view side shots! Can't remember, you did a 2.5" or 3" lift?? Tire size? I'm doing the AEV Savegre with Duratrac 315's. love the beefy look, but I want to keep the tires legal - just a little bit sticking out!!

hi thanks... my son can't wait to get new tires for this thing... we put 1.25 inch spacers in and i do like the stance a little better but if i could figure a way to put 35's on it this jeep would be the shit.. our dealer originally told us we could do 35's if we had a 1" ready-lift on it and chrysler would cover warranty if they would do it there but now he's saying they don't make ready-lifts for 13 rubicons yet... so idk... i'm off to Jeff Daniel's Jeeps this morning to see what they say.. they do lifts i might just have to suck it up if i want my 35's...

Thanks, I hope your Jeep comes in soon. I think the quality of the the 10A bumper is OK. It is thin and I would never mount a recovery point to it as I think it would get bent. I haven't seen the AEV bumper up close but I do like how it connects back to the frame behind the rear tires.
I plan to use the AEV CHMSL for the center brake light. I would also like to get a back up camera mounted simply because I am used to them in our other vehicles.
Tire are 35" x 12.5" on AEV 2.5" lift.

Not that I've yet discovered, but also have found this fits me like a glove on my 30min commutes so far.

Mine is shipping out on the 23rd. I figure I'll have it around the 10th, just before the check NFCU gave me expires. All in all a little less than 8 weeks, just what the dealer said. Not bad, I just would have liked an estimated build date from the beginning instead of being clueless. Chrysler shouldn't be upset about this or any other thread. Given that you get zero useable information from Jeep until they get ready to ship in most cases, this thread and others like it is the only thing giving people any perspective as to when they may be able to expect their 40k purchase to arrive. I think without this information after about a month, Chrysler would be getting a lot of calls from irate customers, and a lot of canceled orders. It's one thing to wait for 3 months for a vehicle you ordered. It's another to wait for any length of time not knowing if its 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, etc. Two dates is all they need. Estimated build date and estimated ship date. If Ford can do it, so can they. Hell, Mazda can tell you when a car will arrive and it's coming from Japan.

Out of my gourd loving it! Haven't been this amped since I bought a new to me '62 ragtop VW as my 2nd ever car. Having tint done today, and will be working on other minor mods as well. Not sure when I'll get to PA or elsewhere for some trails, but sometime in the near future. BTW, did I say 'I love it!'?

Awesome news Bro, the ones that got their Jeeps are dropping off the radar here. Rightfully so tho, has anyone started just a Rubi 10A Mod thread yet? If not, I would say its time. Got all my money, financing papers signed, both checks in hand for dealer and VIN to insurance company. The small part missing is a vehicle that cost a grand per pound to show up so I can join the dropped of off radar brothers LOL

Was just doing the walk around inspection of my 10A and there were paint issues everywhere. Is it weird that this car is making it into my dreams/ nightmares? Thankfully I woke up. I think I have officially followed this thread for too long.

Paint issues are not uncommon for Jeep...

True. I did my walk around inspection yesterday and had a copy of the Punch List in hand as I checked everything out except the DVD (forgot there is a DVD in the owners pack that I could have used to test). It was an overcast day, so that helped with looking at the Anvil color. No issues!
But after driving the jeep for 100 miles I noticed the black vents in the hood are not seated equally. Its a matter of if you push down the front end, then the back end sticks up not flush with the hood. And they are flush with the hood on opposite ends. I may try to flush them up, but its no biggie. Unless they are the cause of the "tinny, high pitch" wind noise coming from the hood. My previous JKs didn't make that noise. Again, no biggie.
Underside is the nicest/cleanest I have seen on any jeep in person. light surface rust on the driveshaft and that was it. IMHO, Jeep has hit a home run on the 2013. The 10A just makes it even better.

Sorry to hear of your water problem. I have had mine for two weeks, taken hard top off and back on. It has rained up here in NJ a lot and no leaks. Hope that jeep can fix that.
